Are my bags ready to fruit?
    #26843495 - 07/24/20 08:05 PM (3 years, 6 months ago)

Hey guys.  I know this question has been asked 1 million times after googling this for hours but I’d like to figure out if I can fruit my bags.

I’m growing mushrooms 4 different ways with 6 cube strains (god covid is boring haha)

I bought a fruiting chamber online with a pump and timer and all that jazz. I’m doing pf tek where 14 are pinning (I lost 2 early).  I’m doing 2 in vitro.  All of these are doing great and some are days from harvesting.

My problem or question is with the grow bags.  I bought grain which I colonized and moved to a cow poo substrate.  The grain took 2 weeks to fully colonize and I moved to larger bags with substrate I bought online (also bought a black looking casing but I think I will skip that step)

I was going to fruit one bag inside the actual bag and then in the second, coat with a little vermiculite and put in my fruiting chamber.

It’s been 2 weeks and my bags seem to not change over the last 4 or 5 days.  Should I wait longer?

(Hope the images work ... I have other pics of the bags)

Posting more pics.  I’m guessing I need to wait another week but I thought it was strange they seemed the same for the last 5 days
