woah sweet. rabbit pet. I would assume its coming back. Buy some rabbit foot at your local pet store, maybe a safe home for it too, make a lifelong friend.
rabbit karma could go a long way in the afterlife

I am not sure what to do with it. There is another one in the neighbors yard, but it's dead. Do they have rabbit diseases? Do they bite?
First off, baby bunnys are a dime a dozen. Like many species, the doe mamas have extra to account for predation and such.
Very hard to catch a zoonotic disease from bunnies, they keep it clean.
This bunny, is quite far along. Its a juvenile and has already left mom.
Dont mess with the wildlife. Let it do its thing. Very kind of you to care

Me and my siblings each had a pet rabbit growing up. One of my earliest memories is sitting in the rabbit pen when one of the rabbits gave birth. I didn't know what the fuck was going on, so I yelled for my mom. She ended up separating the babies from the mom, and they all died. We buried them in a shoebox, there were maybe 6-8 of them.
We kept the rabbits in a small, fenced-in enclosure with concrete slabs around the outside perimeter to keep the rabbits from tunneling out and the neighbor's hunting dog from tunneling in. They dug deep burrows regardless, the dirt piled up in the enclosure so high that they had tunnels above ground level.
My brother's died first, then mine, but my sister's lived to be 12 years old.
