Reishi bag colonized/help!

Hey guys, this is my first time ever handling or attempting to grow reishi.
I've heard alot about the top of the bag forming antlers before cutting the top of the bag off for fruiting conditions. I'm hoping someone could give me knowledge on reishi. My block looks fully colonized, and also a little curious on the color change of mycelium? I'd love to hear any knowledge or advice, thank you!

Those look great
Expect them to start looking even more gnarly as they go.
My advice, don't open the bag until fruits are WELL established (if you're opening it at all).
Whether you open it or not is completely up to you, the bag as it is, closed, is already IN fruiting conditions if you want to just grow antlers. If you want to try and get conks, wait till the antlers are a couple inches long or you have some really good blobs going and cut the top of the bag off, as long as you have a good fruiting chamber. More air = conks.

Thank you very much for that.
With it being my 1st time handling reishi, and not being able to find to much, I was curious on the color change of the mycelium. So I really appreciate you backing this up and letting me know they are good!🙌🏼

No problem! If you have any other questions as they come along, just come back to this thread. Reishi is my favorite

My 2nd try on the Reishi bags! The first 2 blocks I made, I believe sat for atleast 2 months, was really yellow, but never produced pins or antlers on the top...
With these 2 new bags, I used the masters mix, with a little bit of what bran, the last bags were sawdust woodchips... The 2 new bags were made 19 days ago, and getting a solid yellow color. How long usually do these take to produce the top pins? I'm mainly paranoid because the last two sat at this stage for a month or 2 longer. Sorry the last pictures blurry... other 2 show the bags good. ALSO still working on lowering the dang moisture content in the bags! 👿 it's not soaked on the outside and the bottoms fully colonized, so really hoping that wont be an issue,

It's usually not too long after full colonization. Maybe a week or so IIRC?
What culture are you using?

Hm, hopefully I start seeing fruits on top soon then... they have been colonized thick for a bit, and just getting thicker with that yellow.
Same with the pink oyster culture I have, I bought it from sporeworks, and I dont know the specific culture... :/

These bags are on the shelf with all of my other bags colonizing, and the temp stays about 70-74, but at night it's not consistent and does drop to the high 60s. Is this the problem?

Nah, shouldn't be that, those temps sound fine.
You did sterilize and spawn in front of a hood, right?

Ok good to know. Yes I did spawn the bags in front of my flow hood. From past experiences with actives I have been extremely sterile since.
I will watch these bags, and coming up I'll post an update on if they start to fruit or not!
