Particularly the testing though. I have to pass 2 more tests plus a Dr evaluation before they'll let me back in the building at work, because I tested positive last month. Anyone with any kind of symptom in my office has to get tested at least once.

Not really. A lot of the charts can be deceiving, due to what looks like batched reporting. If you notice, the bottom of each cycle is a monday or a sunday.
Here are the actual projections.

usa coronavirus pandemic theme song
just read that was charles manson's favorite song whoa
maybe this one too
Watch out, you might get what you're after Cool babies, strange but not a stranger I'm an ordinary guy Burning down the house
Hold tight Wait 'til the party's over Hold tight We're in for nasty weather There has got to be a way Burning down the house
Here's your ticket pack your bags Time for jumpin' overboard The transportation is here Close enough but not too far, Maybe you know where you are Fightin' fire with fire
All wet, hey, you might need a raincoat Shakedown, dreams walking in broad daylight Three hundred sixty five degrees Burning down the house
It was once upon a place, Sometimes I listen to myself Gonna come in first place People on their way to work, Baby, what did you expect? Gonna burst into flame
Burning down the house
My house's out of the ordinary That's right Don't want to hurt nobody Some things sure can sweep me off my feet Burning down the house
No visible means of support And you have not seen nothin' yet Everything's stuck together And I don't know what you expect Staring into the TV set Fighting fire with fire

Well that chart is already wrong. Over 1200 deaths today and it’s a Wednesday. Tuesday is always the day with most deaths unless deaths are rising sharply. Yesterday saw 1100 deaths.
Today has seen the most deaths since May 29th.
The situation is even worse than the numbers show since the sharp rise in deaths in the south is being masked by still declining deaths in the northeast.

This is such an embarrassment for the US. We are no longer a modern western democracy. Look at how European countries have reduced their daily deaths to single digits, while we have had 2300 in the last two days. Truly the decline of a once great nation. Just compare our state numbers to European countries.

Very revealing graph for those who don’t believe the covid death count is real. At the peak of the outbreak in April, the US was seeing over 20,000 excess deaths a week.

They're not wrong, they're projections. They're not going to get exact counts right. It's about trend. It gets revised periodically.
Deaths per day is deaths reported per day. It doesn't mean people died on that day. Due to how stats are reported all over the country, you see what amounts to an aprox. 7 day cycle, meaning you really need at least a 7 period moving average to smooth it out, if you want to look at the trend.
The chart I linked to was from the Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation
If you go to the site you linked to and play with the data a bit, you'll notice a few things.
* I removed: - every country with a population under 300k. - every country reporting less than 1500 cases. - every country with less than 100k tests.
No particular reason for those numbers. I'm just trying to clean it up. Mostly it removed the third world, and other places with stats that can't be trusted.
Leaving me with 90 countries.
* US Dealth per million: 8th place, with first and second going to Belgium and the UK. (I think it was 11th or 12th before I chopped the data up)
* Total tests: The US is in second place behind China, with 2 times as many tests as 3 place. More tests = more recorded cases.
* Deaths per 1 million pop., relative to tests per 1 million: The US is in 22nd place, with most of Europe doing worse.
Most importantly* * Deaths per 1 million pop., relative to cases per 1 million pop.: The US is in 33rd place, with again pretty much all of Europe doing much worse.
In short, There's room for improvement for sure, but the US is doing pretty damn well.

You seriously believe anyone actually thinks they are reporting deaths instantly? Come on. Look at the 7 day cycle. Oh wait hamhead was always perplexed why not as many people died on Sunday

Lol what does this even mean? Deaths per capita is enough. Tests are irrelevant to this. You’re thinking of the CFR.

First off our testing per capita is way down the list. Second, we have to do more tests because we have so many cases. When you don’t have as many cases, the need for testing is reduced, which is why European countries aren’t having to continually ramp up testing and aren’t constantly at the limits of their capacity, like we are.

It matters because everything is proportionate and more test = more cases. The US is testing more than anywhere in the world except for China.
Deaths per capita btw, the US is in 11th place, behind the UK, Belgium, Spain France....

I really wanna agree with you on this blewmeanie but we really did fuck up. Yeah obviously the media is blowing it to absurd proportions just how much we fucked up, as to be expected, but we actually did fuck up and shouldve gotten on top of it and didnt and thats why we're still getting fucked by it and most other countries are past it. It's not just cuz we're big. Yes our population size and our huge amount of testing rececntly of course inflates the living shit out of the numbers and that's really easy for the media to pick up on and run with. But that being said, it really is difficult to make the argument that we didnt fuck up and arent continuing to fuck up lmao. Like, fuck the news and fuck the retards who suck that shit down like a feeding tube at a hospital. But still, dont kid yourself man lmao. We couldve done better but we had an administration who had direct interest in not shutting down the economy and a very stubborn stance on it. Not easy decisions to make but imo we made the wrong ones and made them too late anyway and this is what happens. Shit will literally be fine tho lol like it sucks but my godddd people really dont wanna let this go. Corona talk is a huuuuuuge cash cow, one of the biggest money making media spectacles in history.
