Only have mycellium growing within this one spot and wont go any further. Not 100% sure i should have re hydrated but hopefully it doesnt get contaminated as its the only one ive got going.

You don't.  If the myc stops growing,  it's due to contamination.  The way you phrased your post I assume you already tried to rehydrate it?  If your cake was prepared properly it needs no more water.  I also assume since you have one cake you used to have more and they contaminated- which is unfortunately common with multispore injections.  Syringes are inherently dirty.  It's a crap shoot.  This is why learning agar is so valuable.  I recommend reading through the sticky threads and trying again.  Don't let it get you down.  I highly doubt a "rehydrated" cake from a dying batch is going to do anything but turn green unfortunately.  You have any spore solution left in your syringe?

It looked rather healthy. Didnt see any problems or contamination in the jar. And yes i re hydrated it. Am kinda just playing around with some. At this point i am unsure what batch this is from and yes I had a couple jars that got cobweb mold. Could have been part of that batch. And yes i have a little spores left.
