Hello friends, this is my first post but have been reading all season. I’ve also be scoping out potential spots based on all the tips given, soil type, Altitude, weather and so on. Noooo success. However. Could someone please help I.D. These for me? Stem looks about right, has the nipple, was found within reeds. Thank you!

Does anyone else see this latest lockdown as a unique opportunity to get onto empty golf courses 👀

Folks thanks for the feedback and all your info. Had another successful hunt today but have only found one patch this year - sitting at about 3 grams dry so far and thats been a lot of hours searching and a lot of driving!

Last week followed the map and stumbled on this field pass Hungerford. Collected over 200 of little ones, went back today again and it's full! Not sure how to upload photos here. Oh and had my first trip 😊

Hi don't think it's a tolerance thing as it was only my 2nd trip this year. but back when I was doing them quite a bit I always needed more than everyone else, but never had a trip that short. going for another hunt when the rain stops, if I get enough will try again at the weekend.

On a separate but related note, does anyone know if the national parks will be off limits again like they were in the first lockdown?
Not saying I won't be out hunting at weekends because what else is there to do, but would still be good to know the official rules...

it doesn't seem. like it as they have announced unlimited exercise hence I presume they will stay open along with the recreational areas /commons.

Keep searching Lord Lasu.
I'm in North Kent, so I honestly don't know what the coverage is like in those areas that you mention. Bound to be some around though, in the pastures and meadows.

Yes, that map. At first colour was red, now is all off white, however field was flushing and I stopped after 30min. Mind you map showing next to my home dark red, but I never found any and the conditions seems right. Short grass, sheep grazing, south facing. Btw, I checked Google maps as well before going. Because magicmushroommap shows potential area but Google satellite view shows ploughed fields. So did a bit of research checking satellite view around 20 mile radius

No luck again in Leicestershire tried 4 diff fields all recently had cows in, some lookalikes and smaller mushrooms so sure it can't be my eyes if I can spot these others but not one lib! Not looking good for me, anyone finding them in Leicestershire? Gonna start looking in other places as the fields I tried are all in same area. Worried season be over soon!

Yes golf courses and other sports pitches are good, Psillies like fields that are regularly cut.
