Last trip dried down to 20g

Went out again today and got more than yesterday. They won't even all fit neat in the dehydrator, going to have to do 2 runs
Definitely seems this year the good spots are flourishing but only if they're solid, I only cover a tenth of the small field and get tired picking there's more than I know what to do with

Went out yesterday between 200-600 feet above sea level and not a sausage! I went higher today and found a few starting at around 800 feet on rugged open heathland (in North Wales). They're a bit tatty but they'll do for now! I reckon wait a week or two and my lower down patches should begin producing. It was hard work but I'm very grateful to have found what I did; these late summers are just playing havoc with the season!

To successfully hunt the mushroom you must first become the mushroom

I'm in Kent at the start of the North Downs, so can get to about 600ft, but.. It's been really dry and warm here. It's just started to get wet after a few days of rain, but the temp is still up at 18 or so......
but I still haven't found any yet. Will post as soon as I do.
Also I found this topology map helpful to find the high spots around me. https://en-gb.topographic-map.com/maps/sm4c/

Local spot in west yorks has started, when in full swing, normally produces about 20-40 caps a week. This is first flush so hopefully will start producing more numbers in the coming weeks.

First off i'd like to say hello to the forum and i am a babe in the woods when it comes to mushroom spotting so any help would be appreciated.
Found this little colony location MOrayshire North East Scotland at the side of a grassy path at the base of the trees that line the path. Sitting on top of some moss. They look like liberty caps to me but the other picture the purple ones i don't know what they are? Any ideas guys?

no liberty caps. The purple ones look like laccaria amethystina.
