I'm hoping for lots of bad weather the next fees days and then hopefully start posting some pics.great job to everyone who's been luck enough to be getting them so far this year. So so jealous as I'm well over due a lemon tek.
Hope the wavy season don't get fucked as much as the lib season my way

I havent had any luck this year so far in Fife, however I've only checked a public park and a residential area, both of which suffer from regular mowings Hopefully with the rainy weather this week more will show up! I've only found 2 little ones.

am new to hunting mushrooms, would like to know if these are the lib caps or another species and if they're edible or magic. got these after a couple nights rain in grassy pasture fields around 200m above sea level on the south coast. many thanks.

Getting them down wasn't easy, I'm going to chop and grind them up before adding the lemon next time!
Those aren't libs I'm afraid, Bazzzzzzz Sounds like your location is ideal, so keep looking!

Cheers man, appreciate the input. Yeah the shrooms in the bottom pic are also in the top pic, so that gives me confidence.
Happy Sunday all xx

Not liberty caps. Wrong gills and stems. Caps look ~kinda~ similar to more mature lib caps: they have an umbo and striation. But when compared to semilanceata caps there are distinct differences. Definitely get a guide book and go through the identifying characteristics step by step to find out what they are. They don't look like an edible i'm aware of. But, only a good identification guide will help ID the mushrooms. Also, when you pick the mushrooms, try to get all the way to the bottom of the stem (without damaging the mycelium under it). It helps with identification. For these, the gills are a dead giveaway.

Yes Nato! It's been popping off up here hasn't it.... How was your 3.5g experience? I've yet to go that high...but I'm tempted. If you haven't already, watch Baraka (1990) while you voyage...it's the perfect companion. No cheese, just imagery and sound...

Nice! Great news =)

Had 3g of Libs yesterday, very underwhelmed by the visuals, the last few trips I havent had many visuals at all.
Walls used to breath a I used to get kaliderscope scope patterns all over the walls, now I'm getting almost nothing.
Anyway I've been back to my spot today to replenish my stock and got another 100gram wet.

I don't know how many in grams as I just used to go by how many, but 25 year ago had the most insane time with two friends when we picked and ate 250 ish fresh each. I literally thought I'd melted into a blob of wax, saw dogs with millions of legs. If you're underwhelmed up the ante somewhat
