Very cube-esque, stronger than Ban Hau Thai, Mazapatec and Blue Magnolia per gram but not as CEV potent as the Fiji Island, bag appeal completely off the charts

This is the second flush of this tub, first flush looked the same but much smaller fruits, they were all like the trio held up for the camera towards the end of the video, they were still nice and dense too so we would have been very happy with the second flush to do the same, but it done this instead

this is the best explanation i've gotten through asking similar questions
Quote:
Avery's Albino is the original work of a rare breed geneticist. Formed through years of isolation work on lack of pigment that led to a true Albino, there was true Albino Cambodian, and also the non true albino Leucistic Cambodian which will take on pigment in fruits if grown in too strong lighting, and regular Cambodian, ultimately leading to a simplification of the name, to leave us Avery's Albino.
I tried to clear it up more but everyone selling it has a different take on it (i didn't buy, but traded cultures so i got even less info) and we all know what sales patter is like on spore vendors sites, so not sure, but they sure are beautiful and potent and very albino, we didn't change our lighting one bit from growing our other recent cubensis, so if they were the luecistic var they would not have turned out so brilliantly white, apparently
Thanks @El Chupacabra they are a lot of fun to cultivate

Does anyone else know any further info on the origins and proper story of the Cambodian Albino, Avery's Albino, was Avery the name of the geneticist?
I had a good web search last night and found nothing of use, just loads of sales patter

Different species, AA+ is actually partially leuctistic, not albino. The spores are still purple.

Thanks mate, that video is being suppressed by Youtube, i know how crazy that sounds hahahahahaha
Day 1 after upload it got 300 views, it gets 3 to 5 views a day now 2 weeks later, they cut off the impressions according to the stats, an impression is where the thumbnail is offered to a potential viewer, it does not get offered a thumbnail for anyone to click since day 2, it only gets seen by people who are browsing my channel and chose to watch it, no explanation why from Youtube even though i have sent multiple requests asking why.

This doesnt really accurately describe the potency...
Those are all just varieties and potency varies mushroom to mushroom any variety can have potent or not potent fruits even from within the same flush thus without a clone or isolate judging based off potency solely on variety is inaccurate since the flush of fiji you got was bad and mine was super good yet grown in the exact same procedure and conditions purely cause of the genetic lottery
A much more accurate way would be to base upon level of effects reached, you know like 1 gram had me having full on CEV's or 5 grams did nothing stuff like that

Kick ass mate! I received some Avery DNA from the wonderful Justanoob recently and put the grains to coir 4 days ago. Just started seeing mycelium coming up through the top layer last night. Extremely excited to see them grow, as I fell in love with the variety at first sight.

dude the tone of somebodies voice is hard to tell over the internet, my bad if it came across as passive aggressive but when using spores or an agar culture that hasn't been isolated you get potency variations literally from mushroom to mushroom, as you isolate down the genetic gene pool you get more consistency
So when you just give the name of another variety as comparison it can be misleading because what if my batch of fruit I grew of that variety sucked but yours was really good? In this example we both grew the same variety under the same methods but because we didn't use the same clone or isolate we get differening potency
I wasnt trying to come across as all passive aggressive I was more just trying to point out the misleading part of your statement so as to clear it up, it could be misleading to a beginner who reads that and then possibly gets the wrong idea about a variety

You are not telling me anything i don't already know, must be a good 30 years i've been growing fungi now.
Your demand for more information and it exactly how you wanted it with the silly jibe about my crap grow and yours being better slipped in like a wet finger in an ear you said you were gonna whisper into.
I thought i had answered the persons question, didn't realise my answer had to conform to some sort of pre ordained standard that had been setup

I found it to be an aggressive coloniser, really quick, I had it side by side with 4 variations of Penis Envy and they are just pinning up now and the AA is on it's 3rd flush in every tub

Dude that was an example and I even flipped the example around the second time I gave it
The point of the example was that since theres still differences genetically then just the variety alone could be misleading
And if you already knew this and have been growing for 30 years like wouldn't you have answered in a more clear way? I mean if you know theres a high probability that they're grow was of difference potency then yours then why make that comparison?
It's not about conforming to some specific way a statement has to be worded it was more just about pointing out the misleading nature of the statement made was all

Mine is coming in faster than the TOC I spawned on the same day (next bed over in the pic) as well as the B+, Costa Rica, and Mazatapec I spawned a day before. I’m so excited to watch them progress.
