Cacti ID help
    #26835489 - 07/21/20 06:07 AM (3 years, 6 months ago)

Can I have a proper ID on it please?
I scored it in a supermarket for 2$ hoping it's a trichocereus sp.

Any ideas?

Well yeah, thanks.

I'm still confused with cacti world so maybe an experienced member will help figure it out..

Be it a trich or whatever else I already love it how small is it but how bigger than my peyotes

Yeah itll outgrow your peyote for sure
Trichs will generally furnish you with more actives over a quicker timeline than lophs
But its kinda like trying to compare peas and carrots if that makes sense
I love them both..

Nice, thank you for your input!

I was quite busy recently so had no spare time just a little to search already ID'd peruvians and from my eye of view I saw similarities but since I'm no cacti expert I don't really know what are those signs/marks and hidden features to look out for..

So I'm still looking for a trusty confirmation

The top view and overall skin texture scream Peruvian, cactus pimples also seem to be more common with trichocereus. It has a nice center spine and I vote that it's Peruvian of some rando variety. Although I expected the spikes to be bigger.

I got a few Peruvians that have more thorn footprint than flesh footprint.
