The only sound I can get when I am on a strong level 3 trip is a loud alien like humming sound. You don't really notice it unless you listen for it, and once you notice the noise it seems like it increases in volume a lot. If your going to take 1/2 a tab you will probably not have any audio hallucinations except that music will sound great!

Aw c'mon Markos, pull that broomstick outta yer ass & lighten up a bit! I was as 19 yr. old college freshman when I did my first trip (alone--maybe 150 mcg.--didn't experiment with universe-melting doses ' til later), had read all the Tim Leary, Ram Dass, Alan Watts etc. & was expecting some heavy "spiritual" or metaphysical experience. Had a great "setting" (sunny late-Fall afternoon) & pretty good "set" of open-minded curiosity. None of this prepared me even slightly for the sheer exuberant JOY of the experience. The grass was SO green, the sky was SO blue, the trees and shrubs were SO alive, the girls were SO pretty, everything was so intensely what it was and so much more than it had ever been before. "Being Here Now" was no longer a theory in a book, it was just the totality of everything. Must've spent 3 or 4 hours just walking around campus smiling at everyone and exuding happy thoughts of loving compassion. Later I hooked up with some friends (who thought I'd just had a few drinks--I didn't tell them otherwise) & we smoked some weed & went out in the luminous vibrating evening to toss a football around awhile. The cold eternal stars glimmered distant in the deepest sky I'd ever seen, & I felt as in tune with the present moment as I've ever felt before or since. Next day felt kinda depressed, disconnected, & "spaced out" (plus my jaw hurt from so much laughing!) but overall this was was an overwhelmingly positive experience. Subsequent trips taught many valuable lessons, as I dared deeper excursions into the psychedelic universe, but few have matched the sense of awe, wonder, and delight I experienced on this first adventure.

Woodsman, I doubt from your description that you had 150 mics... It was probably more like 75. 150 mics is enough to blow your mind for 12 hours solid.

hmmmmmm each of your blotters holds about 40 micrograms; definitely take both (and have a valium of a couple niacinamide on hand to wind it down after 7 hours, ok?) (back in the day when blotters were 250 & windowpanes were 400 u...)

that's odd, i usually get audio distortions well before any thing else. it probably varies from person to person.

I don't think it's reasonable to try to guestimate the dose. Also, don't let other people tell you what to expect. Ask what you might experience. On LSD you may experience a variety of sensations and altered perceptions. You may have the subjective sensations of objects melting or morphing. Sound may become distorted. You may hallucinate. Your thought patterns will be altered.
