Hello all, first time poster here. Can anybody help me to identify this mushroom? I'm thinking Panaeolus Cinctulus. In any case is it most likely a Panaeolus and am I right in saying that none in this genus are poisonous? Even if you think it does not belong to the Panaeolus genus do you still think it's unlikely to be poisonous given the information I have listed below? Thanks in advance.
Habitat: central Scotland, on a sloped grass verge next to a road. Also found in a nearby large grassy park, near the top of a small hill. Was just growing there in the grass
Gills: brown but a few greyish
Stem: anywhere from half an inch to two inches in length. Most are quite fragile and break off easily, a few are more sturdy. Colour was light brown and sometimes a little whiteness on the bottom of the stem. The inside of the stem was lighter and stringy.
Cap: some brown, some light tan. Some had a brown cap with a different shade of brown ring around it. Shaped ranged from campanulate, conical, flat, ovate and umbonate
Spore print color: Black
Bruising: No apparent bruising
Other information: scent is a fairly neutral mushroom and earthy smell

Looks like Panaeolus cinctulus or olivaceus, but they can be a non active species of Panaeolus foenisecii but I don't think so, the spore print is to black. There are no known toxic or poisonous black spored mushrooms so it won't hurt to try them. You can thoroughly dry them and send me a 2-3 mushrooms and a spore print for my research, I am currently working on the Genus Panaeolus. send me a pm if you are interested.

I see at least one, could be a few more. Sort the ones that are totally black from the ones that are dark brown/purple-ish

Thanks all for the info, as I thought likely to be a Cinctulus...and yeah I did noticed that a small portion of the spores with this batch are slightly more purpley-black but the vast majority are jet black. Is it common for a few Foenescii to grow amongst Cinctulus?
