That's what I did. Once it got kinda fluffy I took a pair of gloves and picked all the fluffy overgrowth out. It flushed ok. . Only a shoebox

Man I’d kill for that flush at this point.

On mine would you just peel off the super puffed rhizo or most of the surface? It looks ok mostly but even some of flat parts are a little thick.

I just pulled the overlay shoebox out of the fridge after four and a half days. We’ll see what it does.

I just plucked all the fluffy overgrowth.
That's the advice I was given
All that overgrowth.  It pulled off easy on mine.

I think they would be bigger with more FAE. All that fruiting happened with the lid on and cracked a bit. I added water and opened the lid up - I’m going to see if another day helps them grow larger. There was also a weird blob in one corner of that tub - maybe mycogone?
