Rye berry spawn is fruiting already

My first post FYI another newb here. So first: BIG THANKS to everyone contributing! What an awesome resource you've grown here! MY QUESTION: I inoculated a ryeberry spawn jar with Golden Teacher spore back on 6-16. So ya, kinda slow going so I stopped checking on it as often. Now, there's about 3 little fruits about an inch long creeping up the inside of the glass. Should I go ahead and break it up into a monotub with bulk substrate (verm/cococoir) or try and do a cake style like BRF and maybe dunk it then rollin verm and put in chamber? Or something like else? Whatcha think? THANKS AGAIN!

I know we all have wildly different methods but I'd probably pull that mycelium out and break it up and recolonize a tub with verm/coir/etc. Tons of healthy growth, I would guess the tiny fruits don't even matter but it does look like you should have done that a few days ago lol.

Looks bacterial as fuck and is pushing to fruit in a desperate attempt to spread its genetics.

Okay thanks. That doesn't sound good although I don't fully understand.

Those bottom kernels have that milky goo on them in your pic and haven't colonized gives the impression that they are infected with competing bacteria or something else -- that's what the fellas are telling you.
So if you were to try and put that jar to a substrate it would instantly contaminate anything it was added to--

Bacillus infection. Bury that spawn in a shallow grave in the flower bed and prep fresh grain...
