Should I travel with a grow kit or better leave it home?

Hello dear mushroom lovers, it's my first post here! I'm asking you for a little advice:
I have to travel to another city and stay there for two weeks. Few days ago I've started second flush and new pins have just appeared.I'm pretty sure they will be ready in one week so I don't know if I should remove the pins and leave the kit or travel with them. If I chose second option I have no idea if they will be okay with a change of an environment and how safely store them in a car, just in case of being pulled over. The benefit is I'd be able to provide them air and spray water each day, if they stay home, bag will be closed with water inside. Besides, I'm really anxious about leaving them home alone as I really care about my colony. Maybe I should store them in a fridge instead, but with or without pins and is there a risk that breaking the cycle will weaken future harvests? It's a regular ready-to-grow kit on grains.
What option would be the best in your opinion?

You could take it with you but it's not ideal, with the chance to pickup contams and the changing environment. If it's not far of a drive then I'd do it.

It's a 4.5 hours ride, the only problem I see is mushrooms' legal status in my country. If I got pulled over, I'd be in serious trouble.

That’s not worth it for a few grams.
I’d just throw it in the fridge and pick them when you get back.

This hobby is very time sensitive so I understand where you are coming from, with that being said: It is not worth the risk to drive around with anything illegal, let alone a potential manufacturing/distribution charge. If you were caught they might impound your vehicle and might even be able to get a warrant to search your dwelling.
Better safe than sorry.

I didn't mention before, but I also got the other kit that I've flushed two days ago, fruits should be ready when I'll come back. Do I need to place them in a fridge too? They won't have fresh air, that's what bothers me. I'd store them too.

You're totally right, laws are fucked, but we still need to obey them...
