Kinda got deep into this today, spent the day finding and photographing lots of local species.
Habitat: Wood-chips/garden-mulch, over rich soil on lightly shaded, but quite open easement/verge. Perth Western Australia
Gills: White, seems the larger one has matured to a yellow color.
Stem: 1-2cm thick, 16cm[1] 9cm[2] tall, solid fibrous white with outer browning. No annnulus on either specimen.
Cap: 14cm[1] 7cm[2] wide, yellow-white with browning center[1], white with grey-bluish center[2]. Slimy spongy surface - possible pellicle? Dark brown edge of what might be a pellicle peeling back on larger specimen.
Spore print color: Rust Brown
Bruising: None what so ever.
Could this be an edible Psathyrella sp? I have 2 specimens of what I'm fairly sure is the same species, they were growing right next to each other, 20cm apart. One is somewhat of a behemoth. Smell fairly mushroomy, like a grocery store field mushroom.

Update spore prints:

Update Volvopluteus gloiocephalus "Common Rosegill" Could be a match, not so sure about the spore print, mine seems more rusty brown than dark salmon. A feature I didn't previously note or know to look for, I think there was a volva on the stipe base.
 These photos seem very close.

I am happy to admit I have no idea, mostly going off extremely limited knowledge of the stem and gills identifiers in this video Caine Barlow - Australian Psilocybe and their Lookalikes
Thanks, I'm excited to learn more.

Just added spore prints, any ideas on edibility? Growing to a formidable size, could make it a candidate for cultivation. Don't worry I understand I'm very new to this and won't eat anything with out in-person confirmation from an expert, but I may try cultivation.
Scratch the suggestion of Psathyrella sp, as it seems like white gills are almost non-existent in that genus. Thanks for the suggestion of Pluteus sp, looks pretty close.
Additionally about the location is that it was a fairly exposed area, shaded the north and south, by ~2 stories but at a distance of 5-10 meters horizontally. The patch it was located in was a very open bed of wood chips, nearly devoid of other vegetation.
Can anyone tell me if this specimen has a pellicle? In the photo of the spore print of the large specimen I'v peeled back the top layer of the cap by simply pulling on the dark brown edge. Certainly the center of both caps had a gelatinous/slimy texture.
