I'm a guy who doesnt run. Running just has never been my thing. I recently lost 55 kilo and have 15 to go purely from one meal a day and almost entirely protein and veg. I've been running 7 KM for the last 2 weeks every other day and most of the time I've had to take a break or two before I finished.
Today something clicked and it just worked. I ran 20 KM on a trail and did the trail 3 times instead of just once. Honestly I could have kept going. It was easier the last 5 KM than the first 5 KM. When I finally got home and stopped running... instantly my calves felt like they were gonna have a charlie horse. They didnt. They feel like shit. But I'm solid.
I feel akin to GOD. 20 fucking KM without stopping ONCE? What the fuck? Who am I?????
My time was 2 hours 10 minutes by the way.

Running is the shit!
The feeling of running another another round after beating a previous record is pure bliss.
In my experience only outdoor cardio (running / cycling) produce this feeling. Indoor exercises can not induce a flow state in me.
What kind of surface are you running on? You mentioned a trail. With english not being my native tongue I would interpret this as no pavement / through the woods.

It was basically a dirt road used for emergency vehicles rarely. Flat-ish with some ups and downs and a lot of loose rocks plus occasional sand / gravel.
I actually prefer it to the pavement. The asphalt and concrete hurts my feet. The up hill stretches are absolutely torturous though lol.
I felt that feeling you describe for the first time today. I thought I'd be dead after one.... then I thought id be dead after two! And I threw in a 3rd! Just madness. Absolute madness.

You are a God.
Lost 55kg/121lbs Ran 20km/12.5 miles
That is AWESOME
Isn't that what you wanted? Move around? 20 km man, thats almost half a marathon. If you ran 3 usual laps of 7km, give or take, YOU RAN A HALF MARATHON! (21km)
You didnt just run 20km, you did it after having lost a whole person in weight! Did it weaken you, fuck no you ran 20km, just to see if you could!

I always wished I was more of a runner but I have too many things keeping me from enjoying it - back problems, high arches ect. Good work OP. 55 kilos is crazy. And 20k is a long ass run. I would die.
