ISO Weraroa Cultivators.

I am in the beginning stages of cultivating P. weraroa, so far got a few plates running on gill samples.
For those whom are unfamiliar, they are a pouch fungi native to NZ. They remain closed and allow their spores to be spread from slugs and bugs which eat and move them about.
there is one thread on... mycot ..*cough cough*... Weraroa Indoor which tempts some possibilities of indoor cultivation. and one here thats lost all its pics and became a discussion on drying them Psilocybe Weraroa Cultivation
I am looking or other people who might have some useful information to add to the cultivation of this exotic fungus.
my idea would be to get some native flora (they grow near the native PUNGA/PONGA trees which grow here, and grain, woodchip and cardboard. hydrate the medium and pressure cook super well, inoculating some via LC an some via agar wedge. i hope to make some pictures along the way, and keep you guys in the spectrum of my exploration into this.

Sup bro,
I've been trying to cultivate weraroa inside aswell, I think they are developing primordia/beginning stages of pinning atm.
Got them in my fridge at 12c° keeping them humid and airing twice a day.
Starting from a spore swab then went to grain spawn to woodchip

This thread has some info. A lot of people talking about how it grows on decaying fern fronds in the searches I've found, could be something to try. Also, if you know any vendors that have non-subsecotioides variety weraroa prints, or have any you'd part with, hmu. Been looking for a long-ass time.

If you really want more cultivators, perhaps a giveaway?

I found heaps of weraroa last season growing on decayed wood no ferns in sight
Aprox 3kg worth of em so it's good to see them still thriving in nature, thanks for the extra info I'm really close on getting them to fruit inside just misting and fanning while the pins start popping up, I wonder if cultivation of Psilocybe subaeruginosa would be quite similar since they are closely related.
I'll think about trading swabs but I'm pretty hesitant since I want to remain low key

Def lmk if you do decide to, I'd gladly compensate you for a swabbed spore sample, for microscopy use of course.

I've had at least 3 people say they will send me Avery's Albino and 2 were even supposed to send it again after I never got the first. I just like pretty mushrooms and potent mushrooms. Can I Haz Cheezburger?
As for you Kiwis, (pandering) I support the All Blacks, I have some NZ jade, and have even hiked Franz Josef for a day. It would be nice to not have to wait till whenever to then fly around the world just to get some spores for cool lil mushy blobs. I will if I must...
