United States of America's self titled album is superb

Love is another solid band from that era.

Personally I find the Velvet Underground to be my "psychedelic" favorite from that era.  White Light / White Heat, Velvet Underground and Nico, VU, etc... all killer albums

There aren`t many bands to play without guitar players
like The United States of America  Total avantgarde!

Listen to the bass of John Paul Jones,
a genius on his instrument, bringing in so much vibrations.
Simplicity is the key here.

Great atmospheric one.
Getting insane later on, as the choir moves in.

Genius Brian Jones playing that wonderful catchy riff on marimba here.
He always added something magic to their tunes, personally to me that
magic disappered, the day he had to leave.
No surprise he was a good friend of George Harrison,
they were both unique in handling instruments and songwriting.

Not sure if anyone has seen the movie Fantastic Planet (English translation). An old animated flick from the 70s. Amazing visual pshycidelia and the score is all acid jazz and pshycidelic pop. Good stuff.

Psychedelic music doesn`t work like chart or Dieter Bohlen music,
so top ten lists won`t work.
These songs always hit you in a different way, if you`re receptive to them...
