Help with fruiting problems, please!

Hello guys, can someone please help me? I am growing Psilocibe Hawaiian using PFtek, this is the second time that I encounter problems in the fruting phase. I use vermiculite and rice flower as substrate, the colonization phase goes fine but then, in the fruiting chamber, the process stops and there is no fruiting. The humidity is around 96/97%, the temperature is between 71-74F. The cake seems to me too hard, it looks like there is a problem of dryness. In addition, there is a fluffy kind of foam on the top. Aaah! I have inserted photos, here:

Please, help me, and I am kind of desperate. Thanks in advance.

Do you have a proper fruiting chamber?

Bring your cakes closer together to create a nicer micro-climate, dont mist the cakes so much, mist the perlite you have in the bottom. I dont do cakes (pf tek), so Im not knowledgeable about the fanning and all that. Lets wait for someone else to give you pointers.
But the cake looks fine to me. I think you should just let it be. But it may be in need of FAE and thats why the myc is growing outward like that. Im positive it will fruit. Just dont do weird things to it. Saw a guy this morning that blew heat on his myc and grilled it.... dont do that.

Ok, thanks. I fan 3/4 times per day, I guessed it was enough. What do you think about the harness of the cakes? Is it normal, or they should be soft when touched?

You mean the plate? seems fine, but probably better with short trimmed aluminum foil on the bottom so you get a better climate around the cake. But are those holes enough? I hope someone who does PF cakes can take a look. Because Im truly not knowledgeable about them.

Ok, Pf tek is my preferred method at the moment so I’ll weigh in. from what I see, you need way more holes... 2inches apart one a grid pattern on every side, including the bottom and lid. You also need more perlite. About 4-6 inches of it. If it were me I would also just use aluminum foil trimmed to the size of the cakes instead of those plates. Also move the cakes closer To each other.

Thanks a lot. I will provide. What do you think about that fluffy foam on the top of the cakes (the cakes rolled in vermiculite have less)? Is it normal?

I think its because you are not giving them enough FAE. So more holes! Read on how to make a proper fruiting chamber. And the dude is right, more perlite.
