First Grow | Golden Teachers are small and slow growing. Would love some advice (pics)
    #26829580 - 07/17/20 06:41 PM (3 years, 6 months ago)

Hey Everyone,

This is my first grow and using a SGFC. So far I've harvested 1.5g from my first flush. A couple of the mushrooms looked good, others were really small/tiny when they opened up.

I'm starting to see some bruises on the pins as well and they don't look good IMO. I'd love some advice / tips if there is anything.

Here is a pic of my setup as well:

I would like to propose another theory. I was doing golden teachers the beginning of this year. Not my first rodeo. All of mine were super small. Took about 25 tubs to finally get a decent size fruit. I also have noticed that in the last few months people have having trouble as well. What are the odds that there is a bunch of shitty Golden Teacher genetics in circulation right now?

I definitely noticed the Golden teachers I have grown are not as resistant to contamination as other varieties, and are more likely to come out weird shapes, or leucistic.  They were definitely not tiny though.
