Got any pics for us? Sounds like an odd situation. Any more detail?

Are you inoculating before pressure cooking? If that’s the case, don’t do that.

No i let them cool down then inoculate.
When i didnt use a pressure cooker because i didnt have one the jars started collonizing in a couple days.

That sounds so odd. Maybe just luck that the jar didn’t contaminate since you didn’t sterilize it in any way.

I’m really not sure why the ones you actually pressure cook wouldn’t colonize at all. That truly baffles me. Do they contaminate at all or are they still blank basically?

So far no contamination. I just looked and it looks like im growing either cobweb mold or mycelium at the top one one.

Just opened a jar and it seems that it has dried out. Maybe i need to get them more moist before pressure cooking so they don't dry out. Just dunked two of them in water hoping they don't get contaminated.

The jars cook for a little over an hour. Using 2:1 vermiculite and rice flour. I get them to where just a tiny bit of water squeezes out when i smash it together in my hand.

go with verm/brf/water 2:1:1 thats two cups or 473ml of verm and 1 cup or 236ml of water and brf. in pc no more than 30 minutes. its pressure sterilization.1 hour is too long time and cakes should go dry.
