Iโm not having good runs with these new tubs, and this weird ass pf classic clone isnโt helping. Itโs been 37 days and I havenโt harvested any yet.

Tried late casing and it grew right into it.
My gizmo tub is super midgets.

Tipping my hat to the Hobbit here https://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/26392827#26392827

WTF F3:

This is a mix of WTF and Egg A "Totoro":

Looks like they are fairly compatible. It seems like there is a lot of nice connections forming and it doesn't look like there is much competition or strife within the emerging community of hyphae. It seems like this behavior usually leads to efficient cultures. Really curious to see what pops out of this mix and to see where the WTF goes on it's own.
Egg A is progeny of the same AA+ donors that contributed to the Tailfeathers culture. Egg A is just strait AA+ that has been selected out over a few generations for phenotype expression of brown caps and fat (not hollow) stature. Here are some examples of Egg A (a clone):

This it the "Totoro" spore donor specimen:

This was the Egg A parent culture (MS xfer 1):

This is a few generations earlier expressing classic AA+ traits.(MS xfer 1 or 2) This was from a germ plate from the same print also used in the original Tailfeathers culture. Egg A is progeny of these fruits:

I think youre gonna need alot more tubs than that
The condensation on this bag is a dead giveaway that somethings off. A good indicator of early signs of contamination

Wedge drop inoculated 6 days ago.
GWLC test jars from the same culture, inoculated 10 days ago.
First time working with LC. Are these results typical?

Got some GT jars from T3 agar that are about ready to send. First rye jars that I've gotten to this point, I thought they were contaminated but lots of people elsewhere have said that it's just moisture from the rye. Either way I'm pumped about sending them.
Much love y'all

That's what I thought but I was assured it was just moisture being pushed out of the rye. I opened one out of impatience to bury it outside assuming it was contam but it smelled like nothing but fresh mush. So I guess we'll see
