It has been very dry here in CO, but after a few cooler wetter days, I had to visit an old spot. I have never seen this many shrooms come up anywhere. The guys seemed to also have been waiting to pop-up, and did so at the same time.
In any case, it was remarkable to see the panfoe and pan'cincts' (what are they called now?) so close to each other. there were easily hundreds there. The foes generally seemed to be in smaller bunches, with the cicts being more spread out, and both types were at various stages of growth. I wished I could have picked every mushroom just to see what ratio there was between the two. But, in general, the foes were more numerous. But, I have probably over 150 of the cincts.
Anyway, the pics...

Some larger ones...I have to go through them all since there are probably foes in there by mistake. happens when you get into a grab-frenzied state...

This pic shows the variation in the cap due to age. The cream colored one in the middle is the youngest. The caps can crack with sunlight. The caps with bands have very heavy spores. The one on the left seems different. Olive colored almost. There are also very small fully grown black spored shrooms. Golden colored due to age. I will post up a sample.

I have seen this before that the stems get long but the caps are pretty small.
