Need Help Modifying an Excalibur Dehydrator Plz!!!

I have the stainless steal Excalibur model# D900SHD
This units lowest operating temp is I think 105f
I wanted to know if there is anyway I can modify it to further regulate the temp to a lower setting.
Maybe if I slap a potentiometer somewhere in there ???
What do you guys think?

Depends a lot on how the temperature is controlled by the device. So off the bat, no, no ideas here.
What do you need it to go down below 105F for anyway?

I rather keep the temp as low as possible and I’ve seen some units that go down to 70 something Fahrenheit but I got my hands on this Excalibur so I want to kind of choke back the heat.

Again, what do you need the low "heat" for? Most chemicals (including vitamins etc) are quite stable at around 100F.

Because some people worry about high heat when drying their mushies so I wanted to tinker.

Well, 105f isn't much heat. I wouldn't worry about it really.

I can help you do what ever it is that you want to do with your dehydrator. But I need pictures of the circuitry to have a good chance of helping you.
The poster above was right. It takes a lot to degrade those vitamins. You're probably fine as is.

I think most people are drying them at 165.

 Highest setting for 24 hours.
Heat doesn't degrade actives, oxygen does. The faster they are dried and stored the better, crank it up.
Dehydraytors draw a lot of power so be careful if you make any alterations, they can make a fire pretty quick. Best of luck!
