I'd be amazed if we got out of this pandemic with the economy intact

Blah. Just masterbate through these horrid times. If you live in major cities, move. Things are gong to get worse. From what I researched. Fearmongering isn't my thing.
Have a laugh. Think the MODS go a bit overboard.
Just have the virgin mary put blood on your face. Simple. Instead of this bullshit.

I won't be moving right away, I am waiting a minimum of one year. I am gonna see how things play out. I had and have a lot of things working out for me here and if things can smooth over in a reasonable amount of time I can start right where I left off.

The housing crisis will not be as severe as state and municipal shortfalls because of tax revenues being slashed and people not paying property taxes.
States and cities cannot generally run a deficit and services are going to be fucking slashed. Luckily because of recent riots, policing will be the only thing that isn't cut down to the bare bone.

As soon as uk removes their mandatory isolation for us citizens and as soon as cruise ships are back up and runninf(cant fly due to medical issue)I'm fucking out this bitch...

Economy is gonna crash whether we like it or not at this point, it's what the government does that mitigates it. So we're pretty much fucked regardless.
They want to open it so badly maybe they should fucking focus on issuing proper ppe to people everywhere and teaching them how to use it. There are certain things that will never be safe like being in a crowded bar. But even hair dressers/salons/stylists could feasibly be protected with the right training and ppe. There is absolutely zero real initiative or problem solving going on. They used to go door to door collecting scrap from people during wwii, there used to be widespread blackouts to prevent potential bombings, the war time effort for that was unprecedented and we were wildly successful as a result(and even still somewhat coasting off of that success nowadays). This is fucking war. We need the same effort.
But at this point, either we shut down or the virus will shut us down. People need to feel safe for the economy to function as intended and if 50% of the population doesn't feel safe then shit's gonna be fucked anyways, and that's without the virus running through the medical system and the supply chain and fucking shit up on it's own.
