Using a Hepa Air Purifier in my room, Yes or No?

So I'm currently getting my room cleaned as much as I possibly can and I would like to know once I get done, would this Hepa air purifier help in any way for decreased chances of contams? This is the one i'm thinking about:
(Edit) found one i'm more interested in
https://www.amazon.com/LEVOIT-Purifier-Home-Allergies-Pets/dp/B07VVK39F7/ref=sr_1_3?dchild=1&keywords=hepa%2Bfilter&qid=1594942373&sr=8-3&th=1
(Edit) with this filter: https://www.levoit.com/allproducts/levoit-core-300-air-purifier-replacement-filter-mold-bacteria
It's a fairly small room with carpet that I will be in. I'm in the process of de-dusting every bit, spraying with iso throughout the room, then going back and spraying a 1/10 bleach water just to make sure. (The room hasn't been used besides storage and was a dustbowl).
After cleaning i'm going to be putting down carpenter plastic 6mm on the floor to cover the carpet and maybe some 4mm on the walls to be safe.
However, my biggest problem, it's right next to the garage door (like 2 feet away) where birds and dogs are and I would like to prevent any of that yuck from getting into my room. And if it does, I'd like to get it the hell out.
I have read quite a few posts from later years and many people say to just get a flow hood but I feel like my SAB would do me good for the moment until I get more acquainted. Plus I don't feel like shelling out $500 bucks.
Any thoughts? Thanks in advance

All that radical room cleaning isn't necessary with good SAB technique. Seriously, save and spend the money on a flow hood someday if you want, but going nuts on the room and using a SAB a not really necessary brother.
If you have still air in the room, and the SAB, you can have extremely effective results with your work. It seems like a waste of resources to do all the above, but if it makes you feel better, then go through with all of it.

A SAB is a fine tool for mush cult because it doesn't really matter the cleanliness of the room it's being used in. Having a large spore load in your room will increase your chances of contamination if you're a little off your game but there's no need to go crazy.
You mist the insides of your SAB with water to trap any spores that may be floating around, and then if you don't put your hands over top of your work you should be fine. Any spores that come into the arm holes should just drop down due to the still air.
I've heard of people having such high spore load that their bulk sub gets contaminated even with clean spawn but I've never had that happen myself, I just try not to leave contaminated tubs around too long.
All that said, there's nothing wrong at all with having a clean house lol. I try to keep things clean in general but for mush cult you want most of your focus to be on sterile technique as opposed to attempting to clean your environment. There will always be spores in the air.

I do appreciate the responses guys Yeah from what you have said, and most of the reading that I did the general consensus seems that it would be unnecessary to get the air purifier.
I figured due to the circumstances of that damn dirty garage that it would be useful in % success rate but I see I'm probably wrong haha.
I did go ahead and put the carpenter plastic all around the floor as it makes me feel a little better (the carpet is like an inch and a half tall, shag as fuck). I know every step is like a poof of dust so I went with that.
As far as the purifier I suppose I should just skip it and like you said coastal, just save up for a flowhood. I wish I had more tools at my disposal, I would just make one damnit.
Since i'm on the topic, I have seen many a flowhood on ebay while browsing for around 500$, any recommendations about any of those? If I had to rent tools and buy the supplies to make one it would probably be about that anyhow.

Lots of very high quality DIY flowhood advice in some threads floating around the shroomery-- I humbly suggest you give the search function a try on that-- I have not built one myself (because we're not yet in a long-term house) but will one day when I can plant some roots.
