people have told me several things about this, im hoping i can find a profesional (cough) that has come across this before. i have been told its fighting contam, i have been told it needs more fae, i have been told its just super tomentose myc. i have also been told i could scrape the myc with a fork and it might start pinning. lol just looking for some advice... does anyone know whats going on with my myc? its bruising blueish green, i tested it with a qtip. i spawned to bulk 7/3/20 and it just keeps getting puffier, it faintly smells like mushrooms, not a strong smell at all, can hardly smell it unless im fanning it. This is my first post here, sorry if its not done right :s last week: this past weekend: Today:

Heavily bacterial. That is probably a lost cause and none of what you were recommended will work most likely.
You could increase the fae by putting it outside in a hole, compost pile, etc
How was your spawn made?

Because it doesnt look anything like trich. It may trich out at some point, but that looks like a reaction to bacteria. I don't think it will fruit and if it does I'm sure it won't look pretty.
If you want to hold onto it you can but if you have more spawn I'd get on it asap!

When it gets really puffy and thick like that it’s from bacteria. It should normally stay like it is in your first picture and develop knots.

Only thing that H2O2 will really work against effectively is cobweb mold. Even then, I've never found it very useful. Normally, H2O2 is never really beneficial because while it can slow down mold, it also slows down and harms the myc at the same time.

I would have let it kept doing its thing until you knew for sure, but im just a newbie. I also have seen mutated shit like enigma so you never know. The fact that you said it bruises blue is still a good sign, but what do i know..
