Question to God [Re: Asante]
    #26827477 - 07/16/20 05:36 PM (3 years, 6 months ago)

I feel like any question of spiritual/ethical matter I try to pose, there is something within me that already knows "an answer" which feels Good.

Yet it happens a lot that I fail to follow those answers and instead take action in a different way or I delay it.

These facts are sort of an indirect question, but here is a direct one:

Meditation, while immensely helping me to find a centre and be at peace, also seems to suggest that what feels like an "ideal" state of my being is expressed through inactivity, contemplation and observation.
On the other hand, when I Act upon something that I sense is Good, that feeling of being "ideal" is somewhat present, moreover what arises the most is enhanced connection with others and a sense of meaning through the world outside, as opposed to the one inside that meditation/contemplation gives.

This whole situation sometimes leads me to uncertainty on the perspective from which to view things, and leads me to unhealthy inactivity that lives in the middle and doesn't achieve anything meaningful.

Is this lack of commitment on my part? Do these paths exclude each other? And if so, will committing to one make me miss the beneficial aspects of the other one?

Thanks for being what you are.

God, why do people think the earth is flat?

Try to find your balance between rest, worthwhile activity, the proper nutrition and the right states of mind. Life is always about balance but at advanced age, more so. Strengthen the love in your life.

Make that a top priority because nothing will prolong and enhance the quality of life as a significant, significant other. One in five people is lonely, the Internet can help if used intelligently.

Most to some level are pretending to believe it or playing devil's advocate by choosing to believe it despite having intuitions towards the contrary. Very few don't know what to believe anymore or believe in a flat earth as a protest action against the onslaught of information and misinformation.

In three dimensional space planet Earth indeed is reasonably spherical in nature, for those in doubt.

In a controlled way, revisit it over and over until it ceases to affect you strongly. Psychedelics can help with this. If you revisit a trauma, you will re-integrate it.

Why is logic, a man-made construction, being used to describe/explain something so hellish as existing here on earth? Why do you communicate how you do? WHY twist what 'logic' we humans understand and say going further into it will lead us to the light? All that does is astray us further from you. More into the darkness where nothing but pain occurs. Why use SOMETHING MADEUP to provide 'truth'? Is this existence hell? You cast us away, father. Why let entropy rule? WHAT IS THE BIG PLAN??? Are we just here to suffer? Through 'goodness' this hell has to offer comes nothing but eventual travesty. Should I just neck myself? It seems to be a good way to get back with you. I miss home. Nothing here is home. This whole thing just hurts. Good isn't 'good'.

You seem like you are in a rough patch, but there will be times when it gets better too, and those times don't last forever so embrace them and learn from them.

You shouldn't neck yourself.

But it is perfectly acceptable to scream where you won't alarm others for the purpose of just letting loose and just AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!

Great exercise, just make sure someone isn't going to freak out thinking someone needs help, do a super saiyan power up but don't be anywhere near folks who can hear you and think they need to tend to an emergency and help a fellow shouting for help. Wilderness and deep.

Life on earth can have its phases of torment but it is not Hellish per se. Suffering is an obstacle in the path made to strengthen you. You are Eyernal, this life is a wisp of time in comparison.

Hell as a place of eternal suffering is something made up. Logic is one of the brain's tools to make sense of the world. The world may give you a headache but logic provides an aspirin.

Greetings!

Good day, all. Grace, mercy, and peace.

While reading Acts 18, I was inspired as to what to say here.

Allow the fellowship we have in the Savior Jesus Christ to let you learn more accurately how we can serve God.

Rather than setting up a stand for divinations, we can open a "First Church Of Shroomery" or "Debate With The Church" thread in the religious forum.

Anyone?

I don't think the Shroomery atheists and muslims would concur with letting a fellowship of christians tell them how to serve God.

It would not do justice to their spiritualities.

You are free to start a Christian thread.

I am free to start a thread based on Gods personal relationship with me.

I won't disrupt your service with voicings to the contrary, you do it in mine.

I wouldn't worry too much mate; he's convinced about half the members here are Russian AI bots or something.

I grew up where you live. How about that?!?
