Hey guys. I just ate a few grams of mushrooms 10 minutes ago. Or, I made tea from fresh mushrooms. But damn what it tastes bad!! I almost vomit from the taste. Is there any way to make tea that hides the taste completely?

Tea from dried fruits tastes like a grainy homebrew.

I've found adding a good bit of lemon juice and honey hide the taste enough for me.

Grind em up and steep in hot water, keep it at drinking temp for ~5 mins. Add a good teaspoon of Bovril/Marmite, add pepper to taste, swaller and enjoy.

This is why I love coffee grinder to capsules. I don’t usually get nauseous from eating them but I’m a huge baby about taste.
I think using the tea to make jello would help a lot.

It did occur to me once to add some agar to a bovril/mush tea, allow it to set and eat it as a savoury jelly, on crackers maybe. Haven't got round to it yet.
You probably need to be a Brit to appreciate Bovril or Marmite though.

Licorice tea covers the taste pretty well. Yogi brand Egyptian Licorice tea is my go to.
