Ah, cool. Inspired me to draw some of the rudimentary forms I’ve seen as well.  I’ll bet most of us have.

I “know” once the CEVs start to swirl even more rapidly. As someone more eloquent once described, it’s like going into an “organic tunnel”. I feel like I’m on the precipice. On the edge of a circular cliff. But it’s a 3D cliff; I could be led on my back, behind my closed eyelids, looking upwards, but still teetering over the edge.

That’s when I know the mushrooms are good. I’ll get up, change my music up, and dive over the precipice :feelingfunky:

Take care all
DJ Ed

I don't know if it matters but the only times that I had extraordinary (i'd call them) visions was with my eyes closed but it was like they were open. Most of the times i see a explosion of colours or mayan/aztec hieroglyphs swirling and complex patterns/fractals. For myself i could actually differentiate between the two. If it's the hieroglyphs I'm seeing i know that I'm in for a ride. If it's the color/cartoony explosions, it will be weak or bad.

Hope this counts for something  Cheers

Interesting thread btw

I find that my come-up CEVs are highly influenced by whatever things I have looked at, thought about, and focused on in the previous 12-48 hours.
I had a day where I was working on mushroom cultivation all day and I would see rhizomorphic mycelium and shrooms. I had a day where I was out in my garden weeding a lot and I saw centipedes, worms, and spiders. A day spent outdoors and I saw flowers, leaves, and birds. A day where I watched a lot of porn I saw sensual imagery

This is on high doses, low doses I generally get faint patterns of dark blues, purples, and brown

Has anyone ever done the full 5g in total darkness? Honestly, you didn’t open your eyes for the full duration of the trip?

I've done a lot more than that and worn a sleep mask for the entire time. Seeing complete darkness whether your eyes are open or closed definitely takes it to another level. I once had my vision turn from black to dark brown to light brown to bright white and then had an out of body experience floating through the white light- that was the strongest thing I have ever experienced visually, spiritually, and physically.

Good point.

The 2-3 days leading up to the trip are a big factor, especially the day before.  Not that older stuff or immediate experience won’t impact the experience - it will.

Yes absolutely agree; you can influence your “set” quite readily leading up to a trip; I once spent a few days reading Graham Hancock, fingerprints of the gods. The trip was filled with Egyptian architecture nd hieroglyphics.

Respect for the silent darkness; I have noticed the cosmic orchestra kicking in a few moments after the music is switched off. I must try the eyeshade. I used an eyeshade a few years ago when I was coming off SSRIs; though once the SSRIs were comepetely gone, after 5 months, the trips got much stronger and I resorted to opening my eyes!

I need to man up to try this fully.

Mush love

How I wish I could have stayed in that forest alone and see how deep the trip goes with closed eyes. The calmness of the natural environment is completely different than being indoors, to me. I need to do that again. The difficulty is finding a good place nearby without mosquitoes or bloodsucking flies...
