As i'm new, I'm still doing so many mistakes, This is my first tub and hoping for some fruits.
So I spawned to bulk two weeks ago, One week in a closed tub then moved to this SGFC.
I fan and mist once daily, Temp is 28 C , But the mycelium is getting bruised(I don't spray on it)
Pins are appearing, Also is this contaminated? Lol i found a little green spot should i remove it or rip?- "I dropped Hydrogen peroxide on it"

1. hydrogen peroxide will do/ salt the region put a shot glass on it that works too and nothing will ever grow on that spot.
2. you gone beyond fruiting temperature and enter in to contamination temperature.
3. lower down to between 22c to 25c.
4. if you remain on 28c more contamin will come.
5. the mycelium is bruising blue because surface conditions are getting dry.

It doesn’t look very healthy, idk if it’s got a hidden contam or it’s conditions.
Definitely looks dry but also like the pins might need more air. Misting the mycelium is fine if you do it right. Don’t spray directly, spray for across and over from a foot or two above it so the mist rains down onto it. It should only take one or two sprays, you just want water beads on top so they can evaporate you’re not watering the mushrooms.

Yep just make sure to restrict the air flow to the tub cuz fans or ac will increase it so it’ll dry quicker.
I’ve been having to run the ac 24/7 the last two weeks and shoeboxes with the lids on are fine but I had to stop dubbing them or seal off the cracks.

Cubes grow naturally in the hot tropics around the equator and they also grow wild much further north so I'm betting it's just another day at the office for cubes inat both 30C and 18C, at least for a few weeks at a time. I've personally fruited them in 30C several times and for up to 4 weeks In a row with zero issues Cooler Temps is around 25 is what I like best but I wouldnt panic and stress just to bring the Temps down a few degrees from 28C, it can surely handle that and more, and also I've yet to see contams pop up where they're not expected simpmy to get just because of a few degree increase in temperature, don't go breaking your back now trying to fix Temps haven't dropped below 25C in the current grow area, it's constantly 25-30C where Ive been fruiting lately, can't say that I'm concerned about the temperature manifesting otherwise avoidable contaminations gl

Oh that's really good to know!I just turned on my AC and left it, It's about 25-26C now and all is going good.
I also leave my colonizing jars at 28c but just found out that the grains inside the jars are usually a few more degrees up.
