Jesus is debatable but the image of Jesus and the mother Mary and the cross are.

I don't think there's anything wrong, even in biblical terms, with asking another person to bless you though. There's nothing wrong with admiring the virtue of another person. It's a fine line.

Only hope can give rise to the emotion we call despair. But it is nearly impossible for a man to try to live without hope, so I guess that leaves Man no choice but to walk around with despair as his companion.

At the Council of Nicaea in 325 A.D. the church officially assumed the stance that the Father and the Son are completely equal based on the fact that they are "of the same substance". In this view, Jesus and God are two aspects of the same thing so worshipping one is essentially equivalent to worshipping the other. This is the whole concept of the holy trinity. The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are all essentially the same thing but represent different facets of God. God= The creator or the Genesis from which all things come. Jesus is God manifest in the world, and the Holy Spirit is God without form that pervades all creation.

This is correct.

jesus coulda been a tool to distribute the peaceful aspects of religion in a region but offer interpretations that were favorable to the kingdom at the time

do we really know that much about christianity?

it kinda just emerged after hundreds of years of being debated in caves

I'd never claim to completely understand the Bible or word of God, however I do believe Jesus stated first and foremost don't worship me. It's only a step, or letter, away from Warship.

Its not asking Jesus to bless you or admiring his virtues thats the problem. its refering to Jesus as God. Mary is not considered God so thats not the problem.

and its not making an image or statue thats the problem, its worshipping/prostration yourself before the statue or image thats the problem. there were images and statues of cherubim for example in the temples. Those aren't meant to be worshipped like the Golden calf, or Jesus for example.

Christianity has always had sects of Guru worship running throughout its history.
Guru worship is old as feck.  Buddhism has got it too, same for Islam.  And it runs older & deeper yet.
It’s Ancient.

Most christian denominations consider jesus to literally be god in another form.

Not that it matters anyway because the entire religion is just a bunch of imagination and superstition, so it doesn't really matter if people are "breaking the commandments."
