Incubation setup seem fine?
    #26821261 - 07/13/20 02:29 PM (3 years, 6 months ago)

Hey guys I just wanted your thoughts on this very plain incubation setup. My house has central ac and is set at 76 degrees fahrenheit all year long so I just wanted thoughts on the lighting setup. is it necessary? should I remove it for fear of unwanted heat? It's an LED bulb so not really hot tho. They're currently sitting on the top shelf of a small green house. Also BRF cakes are exactly 1 week old from inoculation day does the growth seem slow?

Looks good. I light my spawn 12/12 with an LED too. I don't think it's necessary but since I grow tubs 12/12 anyway I consider it a "might as well". The way I figure is that it's nice for them to have a well established circadian rhythm through their whole life cycle.

u do not need to incubate at all that will only create more ideal conditions for contams to get a foothold. that 76deg temp is more than good man. my house stays at 70-72 all year and i have no problems and niether does anyone else. incubation is a bad idea. light is good for them tho

I wish I had central air set to 76*F that’s kinda perfect for cubes. I have to run an ac on energy saver at 68 to keep my closet around that temp while I’m at work

Thanks for the responses! I guess it's a little misinformative to say my incubation setup since there really isnt anything fancy going on besides them having a little 9 watt led bulb. Like I said they sit at room temp of 76F with the green house tent open. No extra humidity or anything like that just chilling on the shelf.

Agreed! 76F is a pretty ideal temp imo too. My closet currently is being used by an indoor garden I have with some strong grow lights. so I have them in my room to avoid the heat and humidity in there.

I unfortunately dont have a 12/12 timer tho and just plug them in when I wake and disconnect them when I go to sleep I'm hoping that doesnt mess them up? Maybe I should invest in a timer for them not sure tho.
