I’m done messing around. I’ve had the same job for 7 years at a really good company, 401k matched/good insurance/solid in general but the pay can max out pretty quickly unless you’re at the top. If anyone has any suggestions, I’m all ears. I have a 2 year old daughter who deserves to be brought up CORRECT. My gf is going to nursing school but that’s going to take a bit. If anyone has suggestions, post here or message me. I want to go to school too but I’m not sure, I’m a solid worker but it’s depressing when you don’t even get the opportunity to shine when you’re needed at your current position. Forget that.
I do want to go to school, but sometimes that’s not the best route. Really not sure. I don’t have any true interests besides being successful. I’m a people person but I really didn’t like the sales jobs I had. Figured I’d post and see what you guys had to say.

My job title is technically warehouse coordinator, but it’s not at what most would call a warehouse. We are #1 in the world for what type of business we run, but it’s just hard to move up high enough to get the good money without having a degree in business. It’s a solid place but I would do other types of work for sure. I do not necessarily have a passion for what I do at all, it’s either go to school or move on pretty much.

Perhaps consider some kind of certification program? IE a couple friends took a home inspector course, $2500 six weeks and a certificate later they're now easily able to get $55k-75k jobs and much much more if they run their own company someday. There's also low cost franchises for various services, haven't looked into it much but that's like $5k-$20k range for a keyturn sort of operation. Could have potential for side money.

That’s not a bad idea, I have no issue working towards something I just am not sure of what route to take, and being stagnant can be upsetting. I should probably looking into certs a little more, rather than jumping into school or whatnot.

Join a union, Carpenters are making like $35 and hour in my city. They have good benefits too.

I was a 10th grade HS dropout and went back to school at 42yo after partying my ass off. Worked bars and restaurants for 35 years and did everything from dish washing to management, fast food to fine dining. I went back to school to make a decent living wage. LPN by the way. A lot of businesses are hiring online course people now more than ever especially in health care. You would have to do the clinical part in person though. Healthcare is a good way to go.
