Alcohol is soul numbing poison anyway. You've been given a gift in disguise Bodhi.
Stick with psychedelics and their allies, live a long and happy life.

I've seen and am seeing so much misery with alcohol, I sorta quit it.
It seems everyone who uses it regularly that I know has an issue with it, which they often deny. In the supermarked, people in front of you, greasy hair, reeking, 8 pint cans of beer and maybe some snacks and thats it for the day.
So much misery associated with Alcohol.
Shit's poison.
When I do drink it, one glass, I'm like "OK, that tasted good but now I got a head full of potting soil."
The high, for me, isn't.
It feels exactly like what it is, mild organic solvent poisoning.|
There are so many drugs out there who go out of their way to make you HIGH but alcohol just disrupts your functioning which only seems suitable for a nightcap or repressing your issues.

At this point I'm repulsed by the idea of drinking. The entire next day is ruined after a night of moderate drinking anymore.
I really enjoy edibles, but my employer finds it unacceptable.

Haha getting old. I know so many people stopped drinking in their 30s because they couldn't deal with the side effects anymore.
Terrible substance anyway. The drug of choice for morons and wifebeaters....

If you want to give your liver a booster to recover from former alcohol use: milk thistle extract, the same stuff they give with destroying angel poisoning.
dont use this wisdom to sustain a drinking habit that should stop.

There really is some sort of voodoo going on with it. It’s bizarre how a person can persist in light of consequence with alcohol. It’s like if the process of making alcohol wasn’t known you would think it was this super complicated, specially engineered compound made by the Illuminati themselves in order to bring the masses under a spell.... turns out it’s a super simple easily made compound that’s used by the Illuminati to put the masses under a spell.

Milk thistle is a total hoax. And most of the extracts test heavy for toxins.

I quit at 24 - one of the best decisions of my life. I don't miss it at all, and I think I'd be completely satisfied if I never had it again.
When it comes to drugs, I feel psilocybin is so much more rewarding. Plus, I don't have to do it nearly as often to scratch the "intoxication" itch.
