Nothing can come from that grain jar aside from burying the contents outside under some soil. Toss it, clean the jar with hot water and soap or a bleach/water mixture and work on getting clean spawn have you tried agar? Look up 123 agar or pastyplates if you haven’t and would like to begin doing that.

Not even burying it is gonna give you anything. Yeah clean your print/syringe on agar, then inoculate grain jar after PC of 90 minutes at 15 PSI.
Good luck OP.

I was just saying burying it is the best option for maybe something at all fruiting eventually. I’ve seen pics on here where an entire triched our tub fruited in one corner so I don’t doubt nature’s ability to produce them even in the worst environments. 👍 nothing can be done with that inside though, it’s a risk to other inoculations. Spores could get in the air, blah blah blah it’s bad lol. I’d toss em outside in some soil just for the hell of it really.

Haha I was being facetious, but that's hard to communicate through text. I accidentally put my hand over the mouth of the jar while cutting a wedge and figured I'd let it play out.
I've been watching the battle of fungi play out. It's actually been really fascinating to watch the mold start small and end up whooping the ass of team Cube.

Yeah I just dont see any myc in there. Tubs usually have at least some amount of myc as the grow have come far along to be spawned from jar. This one is entirely contamed inside the jar.
How are the other jars doing OP?

Ahh I see yea I’ve done that before 😂 it’s pretty wild how it works isn’t it. I’m actually doing that right now with a contamed pasty plate.

I have it entirely separate from the others and am just watching and waiting to see how it grows. I like your mentality haha obviously just be safe in case it spores and gets all in your grow room.

They're coming along nicely! spawned some jars as an experiment with different sub and spawn ratios. The rest were sacrificed for g2g 😁

Last harvest was good, but looking for better space efficiency.

Hell yeah! Its like watching microscopic gladiators in slow motion!

It's a little hard to see, but at 6 o'clock there was a green patch that the myc completely swallowed!
