B+ (Positive) Cubensis Cultivation Tips?
    #26819130 - 07/12/20 10:34 AM (3 years, 6 months ago)

After about 2 months from starting jars, I finally have a healthy, beautiful tub full of Cubensis & 3 more tubs pinning.
I used a basic cococoir/vermiculite/wbs TEK.
I’ve seen threads on adding gypsum & coffee grounds to the jars for quicker, thicker yields, I’ll be testing that with this “strain”.
Anybody know any other good tips for B+ Cubensis specifically?
Much appreciated :fairy:

Due to not wanting spores all over the others, I’ve been picking them daily, so I haven’t gotten a full tub picture. I will soon, though.

B+ is a regular cube so nothing particular is recommended (like a casing for PE to avoid blobs)

Those super light colored fruits are cool looking :mushroom2: Back in the day I used coffee water at like 50/50 strength to hydrate my grains. They did actually seem to colonize a little faster than without it but I wasn't really testing it with clones or anything.

Gypsum is sometimes added to no prep grain jars to prevent clumping, and it's added into bulk substrate to add (something) for the mushrooms but I think it's been shown to not really add much if anything to the mix.

So no B+ advice really from me other than to take a clone or two or three from your grows and see if you can find a potent producer.
