I bought it last year was very small with one head. Since March it has exploded, grown very fast and has had babies

Can I replant the babies? Bigger ones seem to have roots attached

Does anyone know what type it is?

Sempervivum spp, a pain in the ass to grow without them rotting.

Thanks Dancingwolf.

This one seems happy enough although when I looked at the roots just now does seem like some discolouration. Would you recommend putting gravel in the bottom of the pot when I repot it?

Oh and do you know if I can just separate and plant the big chick? Im assuming I can...

I use an even soil consistency and I'm not sure how well they divide, they usually send out new plants on a little stem.
