Thanks for the response Pasty,  I've never grown any type of PE, I am familiar about reading that PE does that, but that was the very first time I had experienced any blobbing. I had a thread asking about it, and others said that was strange RW would do such a thing like that, RW doesn't do that, I had a contamination or bacterial issue that they were reacting to...

So should I be doing anything special for RW? Do I need to do any additional stuff? Because I am planning to just spawn it to bulk like any other cube like I did last time, or should I be doing something else?

In this thread you threw it out despite everyone telling you not to

RW grows like any cube does. I like to give it a 1:3 spawn ratio and a top layer if I’m doing coir and verm.

That coco you're using is awesome. Really everything canna makes is good in my opinion. It's buffered well, barely ever have to add cal mag for the weed.

Best rated coir I found online for any growing. Super clean is what everyone mentioned, almost no salt was another big one. Found a good deal for 5 brick boxes so bought a couple lol.

He got sketched out because of those blobby formations squashed against the plastic:

I had to throw it out... I looked at the bottom of the tub, and this is what I saw and looked like. My shoeboxes haven't ever looked like this, not sure what is going on, but just not not happy about how it looks, especially with whatever is going on at the corner edge of the tub also... I didn't want to take any unhealthy risks or anything, don't know why my RW turned out to be like this... Does anyone know why it turned out looking like this or what caused this?

That's just myc doing its thing and getting blobby n' shit, no contamination. You'll see this phenomenon happen from time to time with specially aggressive cultures with a tendecy to blob. That box was doing fine

Sept 8th

Well I ended up with a few ahead of the pack and lots of blobby ms weirdness. Not going to bother printing any, hopefully the clones I got coming up prove better. However it’s the first fruits I’ve grown in a while. I do feel rusty. There is at least lots still filling in. Should pull more tomorrow.

That’s a pretty common ratio I think. I usually run 1:2.5 minimum.

Gotta have that water storage lol.

APE invitro pin clone looking aggressive. I could use a good APE clone.

Nice, I’ve burned through a handful of ape swabs from multiple source and have yet to get germination. Not even the ones from rockefeller

Only way I've been able to get APE swabs is to cut off the swab and bury it in the agar.

Sept 13th

Well I’ll hopefully have some more content despite getting a bit flaky. Life gets busy right? Ended up harvesting a bit of a disappointing first flush across the first three tubs. But there are second flush pins already setting up, might get lucky second time around. Some more first flush ms weird setting up in other tubs too.

Still not complaining, no sign of the green monster and that’s something. Got some tubs, some spawn, shit I even got some v tek going.

So all in all I’m pretty stoked. Got the 3 RW clones coming up to spawning soon and I’m pretty excited for em. This should get better soon

Did you wrap these in foil when you pc’d them? They look neat. Coir cakes right?

Yeah they are inoculated the same way PF cakes are so they tops need foil. There is coir and a few other things in there, we will see if the mushrooms like.

Sept 16th

Some ms first flush got pulled and will take the balance of it tomorrow. Also took some of these second flushes too. Not huge yields but nothing to complain about I guess either. No green monster so far and that’s something right?

Spotted some knots in my PEU tub, and am pumped for em. Will be my first real go at the variety.
