A
1 cheap ass fan, dont care how fast the constant humidity and being sprayed with alcohol kills it, but three for 20 bucks - connected to A3 2 small volume air pump connected to image C number 3 before going in. used for constant positive pressure in the large black tub. i dont want things seeping in, yeah it might be weird. 3 neat wifi controlled timer, i set the on for 9 mins every 4 hours. (A1 and a3 are only on while trying to fruit.
B
 heating pad. connected to C1
C
1 temp control, probe sealed inside 2 humidity control connected to D1 and D2 3 .01 micron inline air filter, in air lines into container have these 4 i way air valve. all air lines have these (too much? maybe but the filters and valves were only like 10 bucks so what ever)
D
1 sonic humidifier 2 high volume air pump - to keep humidity from going to high but does not point at fruiting tub/tubs (had medium tub last time inside this, but am going to try multiple much smaller tupperwares this time)
E
1 blue tooth temp/humidity sensor. this only sends to my phone. no controls 2 Full spectrum UV LED. with adjustable intensity, i keep it medium low so its like indirect light. only on when fully colonized 3 probe for temp controller/heating pad 4 sensor for humidifier/high volume air pump on of the inlets for air (this tub is very long and goes all the way down to the bottom of the big black tub this lid sits on.
not pictured. the big black tub, its a tub with three holes that are air pump line sized and one thats humidifier line sized.
all holes sealed with silicon (note, let dry fully for a week before enclosing something you want to keep alive with it)

Looks like cool stuff. I see you have put a lot of thought and effort into it. But is it just me or do trusted cultivators never do stuff like these? I have read so many teks, and none of the big and trusted ones ever propose building stuff like these.
Please dont be offended OP, because I dont know your experience level. But it seems to me like its mostly inexperienced growers that go all in with these setups instead of doing proper monotubs, shoeboxes, etc. I cant remember how many times Ive read Pasty, Bod, and others be like: dont do grow tents etc, monos are as automatic as you can be.
Have you maybe grown cannabis before?

yeah, a lot of this was re-purposed from cannabis. and this was built before i came upon this amazing website (where i since have learned so much) i tried to automate the misting because i travel for work.

I understand you OP. ITs ok, we all learn brother. So since you travel and want it as simple and no frills as possible (you should have searched this yourself ofc but...):
Step 1: (this part I think you know, but Im still gonna post it here): Take your mycelium to agar (if you have it in print or syringe). Clean that agar plate up through transfers. Inoculate sterilized jars with that agar and let myc 100% colonize it (Bod's teks cover all of this and more)
Step 2: Spawn those jars to a substrate. You travel a lot so these teks are made for you (pick just one. You dont even have to drill a hole. - Bod's Easy AF Shoebox -Shaper's SFF Shoebox Factory Beginner Tek
- Bod's Unmodified Monotub Tek

i agree with redhand, keeping it simple is definitely the way to go in this hobby. typically people just end up fucking shit up when they try to go hi tech with heating pads & shit. unless itβs super cold or hot in your grow room you donβt really need to heat much. automated misting would be pretty nice tho since you said you go out of town a lot. i always just end up having to get lucky or have a roommate mist mine when iβm out of town lol

thanks! i got 20 grams dried from one half a spore syringe and a jar of rye berry through 2 flushes. third flush started showing signs of contam. still pleased for my first try!
but I take joy in finding better ways to do things so I have done a TON of reading here recently.

This happened to me, was trying to use heating pads and control everything and had consistently bad results and failures. Now I do as little as possible and it's working 100x better. Kinda funny that way.

unless ur growing pans or other exotics this is totally not needed and will do the opposite of what u are wanting it to do. we have all been there and tried all of that stuff only to find for cubes you can not and will not out perform a monotub made from nothing other than a plastic tote and maybe some holes with polyfil or micro pore tape if u choose to go that route. all of that automated fancy shit i bought got put in a pile in the garage once i learned the error of my ways. it will not only give you shitty end results but it will also cost you more in the amount of time that you will find yourself fucking with it. i just wish i had someone tellin me this when i was trying to do something similar. ya for sure that shit looks cool and to someone who dont know any better will even make it look like you know what your doing. but in the end all of that shit will be working against you and mark my words it will end up in a pile on tbe floor in the garage or somewhere else your other bad ideas have gone to die. for me its my garage lol. but dont throw it out cuz after you get some good grows and some good experience under your belt you can dig it up from the graveyard and grow some pans or other exotics.
look up bods unbodified monotub or pastys ez dialed monotub. you cant go wrong with either of those

Except I'll throw my vote for the shoe box route - https://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/26009662
I always did tubs before but when I got back into cult with less space I tried the shoe boxes and man I love them. Your mushrooms tend to be smaller on average but you still get the same yield per qt, no maintenance, and they are really easy to handle like for harvest. I can put my hand on the sub, even with a full canopy, flip the whole thing over, set the tub aside and lay the sub on a piece of paper and go to town.
SB and monos are all the same thing though really. They are tailor made for cubes

shoeboxes are badass. i only got into larger tubs bc i was growing too much to have to manage 12 separate shoeboxes lol. i still run shoeboxes for growing new strains & finding clones or testing stuff on a small scale. they are perfect if you wanna grow a lot of different varieties & shit

Oh you can juggle stacks of 7 SB no problem. I've got a couple stacks
I think you can get more mush with SB than tubs taking up the same area since you have less empty space above the sub with SB. They're both great though and put out tons of fun if you make them correctly.
