Easy way to make tea with dry shrooms?

Hey everyone!
I'm going to be taking shrooms and I wanted to give tea a try since I tend to get stomach discomfort and a bit nauseous.
Can I just chop them, put them in an empty tea bag, add another flavored tea bag, pour some boiling water over it and let it sit for a while?
I've also read conflicting things about tea potency. Some people suggest using a dose that is a bit higher and others say that tea hits harder. I was thinking about using 2-2,5g. I'm not looking for an overwhelming ego-death trip.
Thank you

Instead of pouring hot water on top you'll want to boil them to make sure you get the actives out. I go 20 mins, others do less. No matter what as long as there's water you won't damage it.
I like to use ginger tea and honey with mine, helps with nausea and flavor.

I’m glad I’m the first reply, so you can get the definitive answer right here. Probably anything you hear after this is just subtle tweaks.
First thing to note, you will not harm your mushrooms boiling them.
Fresh or dry? Whatever, chop up or break up into a pan. If you want to get the most out of your mushrooms, soak them now in lemon juice. Be warned though, it does make the intensity a bit much for some people.
So anyway, mushrooms in pan. Pour over boiling water. Turn on heat and bring back to the boil. Boil rapidly for one minute, stirring continuously.
Now turn down the heat to minimum, and simmer for up to ten minutes.
MAKE SURE THE PAN DOES NOT BOIL DRY!
Turn off heat;,allow to cool sufficiently to be able to strain through a cloth and squeeze hard. The leftover pulp should peel easily off the cloth and straight into the bin.
Drink the tea. Now rinse out the glass with and drink about 150ml orange juice. It will get rid of any lemon after taste, and keep your blood sugar stable for the duration of the trip.
You will not notice any loss in potency than if you ate them. They’re absorbed by the body much more readily though in liquid form.
35 years at this bro, and no nausea.
Take care DJ Ed

There are several ways to do it. The TEK posted bove is easy and good.
I used to get me some empty teabags, chop the dried shrooms into very small pieces (almost powdery), and put them into the bag, and the bag into a cup.
Then I poured some boiling water onto it and let it steep in there for 15 min. Then I put the bag out, squeezed all liquid out into the cup and drank. While drinking, I prepared a second cup using fresh water and the same, used, teabag + shrooms. Just doing a second pull so to speak.
While drinking the second cup I come up good already.

Thanks for the step by step guide. I'll boil them or at least let them simmer for a while.
The only problem I see is that the strainer I have may let some pieces of mushrooms pass through it.
I'll let you know if it gets rid of the stomach discomfort </font>

Thanks, that seems even easier to do. The thing is I'm going to take the tea with me to the place where we're going to trip, so the second pull will have to be done before drinking the first one

add lemon ffs! chop or grind your shrooms into small pieces, soak them in freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 1/2 - 1 lemon should do the trick, depending on the amount of mushrooms) for about 15 minutes, let boiling water cool down just for a few seconds so the big bubbles disappear, pour it over the lemon soaked shrooms and cover the cup or wherever your shrooms are inside with a little plate, so the heat remains at a reasonable level. let it sit for 15+ minutes, pour off the brew into a cup, squeeze the liquid out of the shroom material, and then pour another load of cooking water over the remaining shrooms that you have just squeezed out. after 10 minutes, pour off that second brew through a filter and mix it with the first one. thoroughly squeeze the remaining liquid out of the shrooms into your final brew and then toss them down.
what the lemon does is to convert psilocybin to psilocin, which is absorbed much quicker by the body & braín leading to a faster onset, a more clear headed trip and a shorter overall experience with little to no nausea and body load. psilocybin will be converted to psilocin by your liver at the latest, so if you relieve her of that duty, she will be thankful. i really only consume them in lemon tek tea these days, apart from freshly picked ones.
additionally (!), the vitamin C inside the lemon juice (yes, some of it will survive the heat) acts as an antioxidative preservative. lemon really is the bomb. i don't understand why nobody mentions it in the tea making process. it's crucial to a nice DM-tea (psilocin is basically DMT with an OH-group added to the molecule, which makes it orally active).
good vibes

Why are you guys going for the two pull methods? One sufficient pull is all you need.
I haven't had tea in a while and next week I'm going have a small cup.

in any case, soak the shrooms in lemon juice before you add the boiling water.

Absolutely agree, epilectric.
But as I said in my post, be careful as it can be too 9ntense for some people. \its a myth that the citric acid turns psilocybin into psilocin, by the way. It speeds up the process though and makes more of the psilocybin and psil0cin bioavailable, so you actually absorb MORE psychoactives. That’s what makes it so much more intense.
If you’ve used the lemon with fresh mushrooms, I can be fully into the peak in under 40 minutes, and at 3 hours I can just about open my eyes; by hour 4 with fresh and lemon, I’m ready for bed, and back to baseline! Without lemon, some trips can last up to 6 hours before I start coming down!
I do like the rush you get with lemon but take your time people

Thanks for the tip about lemon juice.
I will try that some time but this time I'm going to skip it because I don't have any lemons and my friends will be eating the shrooms so I prefer to have a more gradual trip.
