Friend said his stomach feels strange but didn’t know if it is connected to some shrooms he may or may not have eaten growing out of dung
Can someone tell him what he may have consumed and if he should go to the hospital

They don't look magic to me, either wait for a trusted identifier to confirm or get him to hospital straight away, I'd treat it like a worse case scenario and go to the hospital ASAP just incase

Do you have any photos of the gills or a spore print? I don’t believe they would be anything deadly.. Though he should still keep an eye on his symptoms and maybe go if they get any worse. Or now if he wants to play it safe.
Without at least some gill shots it’s a lot more difficult to properly identify these.
I’m guessing that they are either a Psathyrella Sp. or if they have white gills Mycena Sp. But that’s purely a guess.

Thank you he said he has had an upset stomach but he stayed out all night drinking and didn’t sleep well and had a bunch of coffee. He was here to make sure he didn’t consume something like a galernia or something that could end him up in the hospital. These were consumed about 60 hours ago so if the stomach ache dosnt go away by the end of the weekend he will run and get some blood tests done to make sure he is ok.

Hopefully he should be alright. But you should still wait on some more responses as I’m only assuming.
Also tell him to never eat unidentified mushrooms ever again...

The amount consumed was 9 very little ones he said, he will never ever participate in that Tom foolery again, it does appear it could be either of those species you said as they are all exploding all over the place after heavy rain. This was a bad trip of the mind and a serious learning experience. Without the help of this board he would be under severe duress. As the placebo is a strong dose to take in the first place the friend said.

I'm afraid these could be a toxic Conocybe sp. Since your friend is showing symptoms and some species can be deadly he should seek medical assistance.

There you have it. I’d heed his advice!
If he does decide to go. He should take a sample of the mushroom with him if he can, for proper analysis.

Is there a way to put in a request for a pro identification? Keep in mind the friend lives in Jap and if he actually explained what happened he would be doing a whole lot of explaining to a whole lot of people and it could be a much more big thing than anywhere else. So he can only really get treated for symptoms. People don’t worry that guy has learned his lesson. He said there was intitially no gi pain and he just has a lightly upset stomach after 48 hours then the condition lightly improving over the next day.

Being a Trusted Identifier, donjonson420’s input would be the professional opinion that you’re after.
If the mushrooms are a toxic Conocybe Sp. then they could potentially contain Amatoxins, there’s a small chance that he’s at the second stage of poisoning where the initial mild symptoms appear to go into remission. The third stage is when signs of liver failure can become more apparent...
Quote:
1. The first stage does not begin until six to 12 hours after ingestion. There are no signs of a problem for at least 6 hours. After this silent phase, it is followed by the onset of nausea, abdominal cramps, profuse watery diarrhea, and signs of dehydration. A physical exam may reveal dry mucosal membranes and tachycardia, and given sufficient dehydration, hypotension.
2. After the GI phase, the second stage appears where the patient appears to recover transiently, and GI symptoms resolve, but ongoing liver damage continues. This stage may last two to three days and is characterized by rising liver function transaminase, bilirubin, the development of coagulopathy, and eventually hepatic encephalopathy.
3. In the third stage, both liver and renal function become compromised. Hepato-renal syndrome and hepatic encephalopathy may occur rapidly after laboratory signs of liver injury, and death can occur in three to seven days.
I personally wouldn’t wait around to see how things pan out. Especially since he has felt initial symptoms But it is his choice. Keep an eye on worsening symptoms if he decides not to seek medical help.

Will keep everybody posted on how the friend ends up doing. He never had diarrhea vomiting or any signs of dehydration and the upset stomach didn’t come until two days after. As of the third day the condition seems to be a lot better. Will monitor and keep it on update.

That quote is of a worst case scenario poisoning. It’s possible to consume non lethal amounts. He should at least get a liver functions test to ensure that no damage has been done.
I hope for his sake that the symptoms were completely unrelated to the mushrooms, which is still also a possibility.

It's a large Genus with almost 500 described species and very scant toxicity info. With mild symptoms this far in he'll likely be fine. I would seek a professional medical opinion to be safe if symptoms remain. I hear Facebook identification forums are a quick way to get a response from professionals in the field when poisoning is suspected.

I think there is actually an emergency mushroom poisoning group that deals with accidental ingestion. If I remember correctly only mycologists are allowed to respond and they respond really fast, though the group name escapes me right now.
