I've experienced vertigo like 5 times over the past 8 months or so, I've never experienced it before I started to get it over the past several months.
What I've experienced feels much more neurological rather than something physiological tho...It feels like a migraine to me. And I found out there is a certain type of migraine that involves vertigo, called "vestibular migraine" . I've had migraines through out most of my life but they've become more frequent in recent years and I've never had these "vestibular migraines"/vertigo happen until the past several months.
Pretty sure that's what I'm dealing with when I've experience vertigo. It sucks. It makes me feel incredibly dizzy and fucks up my balance, and I also can't focus or think clearly at all and any sort of lights/movement in my field of vision becomes overwhelming for me and hurts my head and makes me nauseated. Same with sounds and smells, pretty much all incoming sensory information becomes overwhelming and makes me feel like shit (intense pain in the head, unable to focus or think clearly, dizzy/spinning, and super nauseated).

Came back 3 days ago.....20 days from my initial experience.
I did the epley manuever again and it went away. ( again)
BUT IT SUCKS!
It also saps the heck out your energy to have vertigo. Wears a person down quick. I highly recommenced the cannalith positioning procedure if you haven't tried it, just to rule that out.
I find the epley to be the best. Here is how to do it.

Follow these steps if the problem is with your right ear:
Start by sitting on a bed. Turn your head 45 degrees to the right. Quickly lie back, keeping your head turned. Your shoulders should now be on the pillow, and your head should be reclined. Wait 30 seconds. Turn your head 90 degrees to the left, without raising it. Your head will now be looking 45 degrees to the left. Wait another 30 seconds. Turn your head and body another 90 degrees to the left, into the bed. Wait another 30 seconds. Sit up on the left side. Follow these steps if the problem is with your left ear:

First you have to identify which ear it's coming from.

I get the feeling you guys would not hang too well in my world.
Try 24/7 vertigo. It does not end. It does not get better. It is constant and it is permanent.
But you get used to it.
When I see this thread I dont know what to say but feel that I should have some input on it.
Ive had vertigo everyday for the past four years.

You mentioned that but just to cover all bases you HAVE tried the self positioning procedures, right?
There's like 4 different ones have you tried them all ?

I’m not complaining. It’s just the nature of my world. The half deaf part sucks but shit happens. I’ve used the vertigo thing to my advantage. I am a much more fluid dancer than I used to be.

It could also be:
Meniere's disease is a disorder that affects the inner ear. The inner ear is responsible for hearing and balance. The condition causes vertigo, the sensation of spinning. It also leads to hearing problems and a ringing sound in the ear. Meniere's disease usually affects only one ear.
