If you can fit 25-30 casings, a cool mist won't even be enough, let alone an aquarium pump bubbler.

What are you using, a whole room? That's gonna be awesome. If I were you I would get one of those Holmes super humidifiers that are meant for the whole house and have a built in ionizer and hepa filter. Then attach it to a squirrel cage fan and a vacuum manifold. Do some calculations and work out the specific hole sizes and spacing to generate an entrainment effect.

Here's what you need: 8" to 12" fan, large shallow plastic bin [like an under-bed sweater storage box], pearlite, water.

Assuming about a 6" depth to the box, fill it with 3" of pearlite then dump in a good bit of water, enough to leave 1" standing in the bottom. Fan goes down at one end blowing across the wet pearlite. As the fan dries out the top layer more will be wicked up via capillary [sp?] action [its 3am , can't spell]. Anyway...in a closed room you will get a tremendous amount of humidity this way as well as desirable air circulation. A hotpad or seed starting mat under the box to heat the water will make it evaporate that much quicker. You could also use that coarse "hogs hair" air filter media sheeting, it makes a reasonably efficient wick. They also sell "belts" for central HVAC humidifier systems, they're made from a scotch-brite type material, and impregnated with an anti-bacterial coating to keep the scum down, works great but they're pretty expensive.
