Lucky surprise. Cubes on cannabis roots * 1
    #26812669 - 07/09/20 11:22 AM (3 years, 6 months ago)

Hey everybody! Been lurking for a while.

I used my spent bulk sub from my first grow to mulch my cannabis plants, outdoors. I did this about 4 weeks ago. The grow is in a coco/perlite mix with organic amendments.
Nothing happened for a while except the broken up sub sort of clumped back together. Yesterday I transplanted into beds of coco/perlite. Today I have baby cubes growing right out of the base of my transplants, there the coco covered it and made the micro climate.

I have video and picture too, gotta figure out how to post it.

Thought it would be interesting to show.

Sharky

Now you just need to brew some beer and water your plants with it

They are poppin up everywhere. Ill likely put cakes on top my beds and cover in coco from Now on. Just pulled those guys down today and theres more everywhere. Will post when i get back home.

I actually plan on growing my own hops and brewing beer down the road. Maybe even grow my own grains too for both projects

I'm wondering if the spent grains and hops could be used as a substrate or a mean compost tea additive.
