Hey Shroomery, Dingus McFarland here. So about two weeks ago a friend and I each took some mushrooms. Already somewhat stoned, we started out with playing Dead Space 3, but about ten minutes later we started tripping balls. Eventually I realized I was just staring at my 3 monitors like a total dingus and started busting out laughing. By then friend and I were done playing and turned our attention to my new dog who was lazing around on the couch and just begging for attention. Of course we caved and started petting her. In that moment my hands made contact with the dog I suddenly was aware of every texture on every inch of my skin. The cold dusty floor on my feet, the fabric of my clothes, and the paw pads on the dog felt like a kaleidoscope of texture. The dog, not really sure what the fuck was going on, just kept wagging her tail and giving us weird half-nervous looks. Then friend brought out the bong and two bowls later we were in heaven. The sun itself was in the center of my brain, but in a good, warm way. Like someone had stuffed cotton balls in the empty spaces in my skull, with a weird stimulated feeling in the very center of my head, that part was quite strong. With the weed and shrooms elevating each other, we started cracking jokes. From what I remember we had somehow come to the conclusion that the guy who invented AC did it for pussy, then further theorized that all inventions throughout history were just guys trying to get some. Also something about how most white women with their annoying uptalk sound like they're just trying to take a shit and why we can't take them seriously. "ERRRR MRRRR GRRRDDD BEECCCKKYY YRRRR NAILLLSSSS GRRRRLL SO PRRRTY" kind of stuff. By then any ego was long since gone as we continued to laugh our asses off for several hours in the living room. I remember seeing mild visual hallucinations immediately after slowly sinking off the side of the couch and onto the floor, where a ripple went through my whole body. I closed my eyes in pure euphoria as I lay under the table, back against the couch on the cool floor. The comedown was so pleasant, and I was honestly still feeling the shrooms slighly for a couple of days after (the warm sun feeling in the center of my head persisted). Overall a healing, almost religious experience that destroyed my ego and helped me accept that I'm broke as fuck at this point in life.

-------------------- The whole process of nature is an integrated process of immense complexity, and it’s really impossible to tell whether anything that happens in it is good or bad — because you never know what will be the consequence of the misfortune; or, you never know what will be the consequences of good fortune. -- Alan Watts --
