Even though I still haven't got the meterials yet, I'm still, thinking of what to do with the PC and Jars. The only thing I can afford is the major ingredients which is; vermiculite, perlite, and the spores.
I only got the very old PC. You couldn't add weight into it, there's no psi indicator. (I'll post the picture of it when I found it.) How can you tell if it reach 15psi?
And the jars. I've always seen a lot of similar jars. All got a lid. Does it have to be that jar? Can I use the Strawberry jam jar instead? It does have the metal lid, too.

People use all kinds of jars, basically anything that will withstand the sterilization cycle, Pp5 or glass. Jam jars with lids drilled with 1/4" holes stuffed with polyfil. Mason jars are the most common.
You can steam sterilize brown rice flour and vermiculite instead of using a pressure cooker, just search "PF tek".

The BRF mixed with vermiculite, right? And by steaming them, steaming them with the jar open?
Like mix them dry, put them in a jar, then steam them?

You can crumble the PF cakes into bulk just like grains.
If you go with PF tek you should really consider getting some half pint wide mouth jars, deeper jars like to stall out.

The thing is, I still couldn't find a half pint jar and a brf. I got OBR, though. (Organic Brown Rice.) Right now I'm using mortar and pastle. Don't have any coffee grinder, since I couldn't afford it.

Is it okay to use tiny grians of brown rice? Because I couldn't powde'rice' them with just mortar and pestle.
Here's what it looks like right now.
(I don't know how to upload pictures in here. Still new to this site, and I'm only using my phone.) http://imgur.com/gallery/RVn9r85
I guess it have to be smaller than thst, so I put the ground up BR in a pepper grinder. It turns into a sand-like texture now.

Do you own a blender? You can blend regular rice to turn it into rice flour or "powder". You could probably find used blenders really cheap on Craigslist or at Goodwill or flea markets

I do, but I don't know if it'll actually work well. I'll give it a try later.
