Subs or foes
    #26810637 - 07/08/20 09:03 AM (3 years, 6 months ago)

Habitat:
Growing in groups inbetween (but not on) cow pats after a couple of days light rain, Midlands UK

Gills:
A mix of light to dark

Stem:
A mix of stiff thick white ish stems and thinner squashy light brown stems (perhaps to do with their moisture level at present?)

Cap:
Again a mix, some bell shaped some are flat and wavy, some have a darker ring others a more prominent bump in the middle and no rings

Spore print color:
Pending.. 10 random samples currently dumping

Bruising:
None obvious

Other information:
They smell as I'd expect a mushroom to smell

What I have here I think is a bit of a mix of subs and boring old foes.
These were growing in groups in a cow field full of muck, but not on the muck itself just in the grass surrounding, some right next to the poo and others on the edge of the field.
Be interested to know others thoughts, this is my first ever ID post and I have tried my best to work out from the interworld what I should be looking for but the terminology is confusing I'd sooner just describe exactly what I see.
Spore prints pending, 5 randoms taken on white paper, 5 on black. Currently air drying so still quite moist if extra photos needed?
Many thanks all.

Gill shots, also shows the colour getting more pale as they dry, some are more orangey than others

Mind if I ask, what was the most obvious identifier? I really struggled, everywhere is saying it's impossible to tell without spore prints
