MBTI Personality Type 2020 1

Which one are you?
Do you think these types of tests are accurate?
I know this has been posted on this site a few times, but it is still interesting, imo.
I'm an INFP-T according to various "tests". In my opinion they get certain things quite right.
I still believe we're all unique in our own way though, so perhaps it's to be seen as just a vague guideline in some way.
If you haven't done it yet, I like the layout and look of this website:

How the hell did I become a Turbulent INFP?!
Either the test sucks or personality change does exist.
I used to be a rock solid INFJ.
Whether I was sober or high I scored INFJ

I read the INFJ one, and thought it could be a possible estimation of your personality...
Perhaps you're just in an INFP mood today.
I sometimes get other results, but INFP has always been the main one for me.
Could be the test too...

These questions dont make sense in a covid world, which makes the accuracy of the test poor. The test would need to be recalibrated at the least

How close are you to the middle on P/J? I've done such tests from time to time and noted similar 'inconsistencies' that are too often explained by a minor variation in one or two answers, caused by different interpretations of the question, different frame of reference / examples I have in mind, and, importantly, my overall mood and current outlook. For some dimensions, these kinds of methodological limitations can quite easily tilt the balance.
For me, it came out as INFJ-T (I'm not surprised we are similar in this respect, Asante). It always weirds me out a bit that as someone primarily working in academia and with a pretty academic work profile, I very clearly score F instead of T. A piss-poor scientist for sure Other very clear distinctions are high scores on I and turbulence. N/S and J/P are pretty close for me and I recall having had other outcomes due to this in the past. Particularly I recall having seen INFP come out of this test a couple of years ago. Nonetheless, I feel the INFJ description is pretty damn accurate, so it has some face validity as an outcome for me.

Well, only if you've forgotten what you were like pre-covid, imo.

Remake I don't think it is possible to answer like you would have answered pre-covid. For one you would be lying and secondly unconscious bias prevents one from see themselves objectively as they were in the past.
Btw my score is ESFJ-A

Totally possible, I respect your discernment.
Personally, though, I've gotten the same results prior covid.
Social isolation has not effected me really...

INFPs place an emphasis on personal feelings and their decisions are more influenced by these concerns rather than by objective information.

From another website...
None the less, it could also be interesting to see how covid has changed our personalities, for time-being, if it has.
These results are likely to be influenced by our current external environment then.
Perhaps a covid-19 personality test will be developed if this dark cloud doesn't pass soon...

65% prospecing.
I seem to have gotten a lot less Judging.
There was a trend in that in earlier tests, that I progressively became less Judging, but never has it gotten me to the other side.
I have gotten less uncomforatable about being in crowded surroundings, I favor them in my local pool, I guess that skewed my numbers a bit.
Also, I have bencome more flexible and less dependent on fixed circumstances.
My self esteem has grown and I am less out of my element when things break the mould.
I used to be the ultimate INFJ but INFP might have more practical utility.
I'm rather a Mediator than an Advocate, and its more practical as a Shroomery admin too.

I have to say esfj is not wrong, the fact that I joined this thread, completed the test, provided my judgement in a positive way with the intention of helping others all confirms the ESFJ rating.

Two major things I pinpoint the changes in my personality to is:
1)social positive reenforcement at my local pool. A vast group of people love me there, while being a quite fat guy who felt very lowly about himself. I seem to have a big charisma there on all levels (lifeguards, security, swimmers - all ages and ethnicities) that especially shows if I just be me regardless of any social criticism there may be, not "playing extravert" but just asserting my self in having fun like I choose. Responses are out of this world. Balm to my wounds and an example to others. (not to boast)
2)I'm no longer addicted to a recreational drug. Having come from under the yoke of drug addiction is effecting personality changes in me. I'm coming out of my cocoon and becoming a butterfly. It was a pretty cocoon (INFJ) but me, Judging is less pretty than me, Prospecting. I assert myself in the world more now that drugs dont throw over the files stack of my mind every 2 weeks. I'm also becoming less paranoid and anxious.

I wouldn't regard it as totally accurate or definite in any way, but it definitely delivers some interesting insight, for sure.
We are all part of the same world but have formed our identities with what we were given in our subjective field of view. So we are all unique and not totally able to be defined in all totality.
To me at least, it provides some frame of reference or probable explanation to actions that I don't fully understand within myself.
